We are used to seeing Katy Perry with long black hair. However, tonight on American Idol, she debuted a shaggy bob.

So, did the singer cut her hair? I think it looks like a wig, but she should consider doing it for real because it gives her an edgier look than the Pop Princess one she has now and has had for most of her career.

What do you think? Do you think she really did it? And if she didn’t, should she do it?
