David Lee Roth is in the final stretch of his Don’t Love Me, Rent Me tour, and the stretch got even shorter. That is because all but one of his last remaining dates were suddenly cancelled. According to rumors, it is due to low ticket sales.
When Sammy Hagar, who temporarily replaced Roth in Van Halen, heard about the cancellation, he recorded a message for the singer. Hagar invited Roth to join him and Michael Anthony to be part of their Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live in Park MGM Las Vegas in September.
How cool would it be to have the two Van Halen singers share the same stage and sing the band’s iconic songs?
Will Roth do it? Who knows? He still hasn’t posted about his tour’s demise yet on social media.
