Wheel of Fortune wants you to name those Toss-Up Puzzle thingies
February 10th, 2023 under Wheel of Fortune. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 2000, Wheel of Fortune added Toss-Up Puzzles to the game. Since the addition, they have asked the contestants to buzz in their answers via a thingy. I call it a thingy because the game show has not named them.

So now Pat Sajak and WOF are asking you to give the whatchamacallits a name. What do you want to call them? My suggestion is Tossies!

I agree with this Wheel of Fortune contestant, the clue sucked!

The other day, Ben made it to the Bonus Puzzle on Wheel of Fortune, and he was excited because the category was Fun and Games.

However, it was not fun and games for him because he didn’t solve it. And I don’t think anyone could have because the answer was “Taking a quick jog.”

When Pat Sajak told him he didn’t have the letters, Ben responded with, “Well, you see, I don’t consider jogging fun and games.”

Ben was so proud of that comeback that he gave himself a thumbs up. And Sajak agreed that “it wasn’t bad.”

He is 100% correct. I asked my friend who jogs every day if she considers it fun and games, and she is like, “Hell no.” Does anyone?

This Wheel of Fortune fail hurts a lot

Julian was doing really well on Wheel of Fortune when it came to solving one of the puzzles. He guessed all of the letters for “Mythological Hero Achilles.”

What could go wrong? When it was time to solve, he said, “Mythological Hero Ay-Chill-less.”

And as we know, you need to pronounce the words correctly. So his face when Shelby says, “Mythological Hero Ah-Kale-Less,” says it all.

Let’s say the pronunciation of the mythological hero will forever be his Achilles hell.

Is Pat Sajak being replaced on Wheel of Fortune?
January 17th, 2023 under Wheel of Fortune. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, Wheel of Fortune was picked up for five more seasons. However, the press release did not mention if Pat Sajak would return to host.

If the 76-year-old opts not to come back, it looks like people are already gunning for his job.

Yesterday, Eric Way told Sajak, “Pat, listen, you have been doing this for 40 years, and I would love to have your job. As we say in showbiz, ‘The show must go on.’ And I want the show to go on with me. I would be great at it.”

A stunned Sajak was left speechless, and then he asked, “Do you know something I don’t?”

Then Eric told him that he doesn’t, and he proceeded to thank the producers for letting him be on the show.

Finally, Sajak told the contestant to leave a card. And he did. Not only that, but the producers let him audition for the job.

How do you think he did? Do you think Sajak should be nervous? If I were Sajak, I would get a good money manager because he is going to need to invest his money for that rainy day. And it has been raining in Los Angeles.

BTWF: Pat Sajak in Airplane 2: The Sequel

Before Pat Sajak was news, he played a news anchor in Airplane 2: The Sequel. He looks the same now as he did 34 in that 1982 movie.
