On January 7th, Celebrity Wheel of Fourtune is coming to ABC’s primetime. You can’t do a game show like that without stars, so who are the stars who are doing it?
They are Karamo Brown, Yvette Nicole Brown, Nicole Byer, Drew Carey, Rachael Leigh Cook, Jennie Garth, Chris Harrison, Teri Hatcher, Tony Hawk, Robert Herjavec, Leslie Jones, Jeannie Mai, Joel McHale, Maria Menounos, Chrissy Metz, Kevin Nealon, Patton Oswalt, Paul Reubens, Alfonso Ribeiro, Rob Riggle, Sherri Shepherd, Joe Tessitore, Chandra Wilson, and Constance Zimmer.
There are more people for me to root for on this show than ABC’s other ones like Dancing with the Stars and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. I hope Pee Wee Herman goes all the way. After all, he knows all the secret words of the day.
ABC announced today when their unscripted shows will be back in 2021.
They are going to start it off on January 4th with their first African-American Bachelor Matt James. Then their Thursdays will include a celebrity version of Wheel of Fortune and two new game shows. Finally, on Valentine’s Day, they are giving American Idol fans some loving with American Idol.

Vanna White did a first in Wheel of Fortune history, and it is one that will shock fans of the long-running game show. The letter turner wore the same dress twice. The horror!
That is the first time she did that in over 7,000 dresses. What happened? As she says, “This is so 2020.” Is there anything 2020 won’t destroy? Is nothing sacred?
Ever since March, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune stopped filming new episodes because of the coronavirus pandemic. Now, Deadline is reporting that both shows are getting back to work.
Alex Trebek is starting this week, while Pat Sajak and Vanna White are hoping to start next week. The shows will feel the same but look a little different. There will be a much bigger diastance between the contestants from each other and also the hosts. There goes cheating off your neighbor during Final Jeopardy.
The crews of both shows will be given PPE and be tested frequently. Only essential crew members will be allowed on the set. The contestants will also be tested before they go on the show.
Everyone wants to make sure that everyone is safe from COVID-19 as best as they can.
I think this will be really good for Trebek, who is fighting cancer. Working on the show will be great medicine for him. He needs the medicine because we need him.
Pat Sajak is nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host, and he will do anything to win his third Daytime Emmy Award in that category.
Don’t believe me? Here is what the Wheel of Fortune host wrote on Twitter, “To Daytime Emmy voters: The last time I won was 1998. I’ve been nominated again this year, but who knows how many years I have left? So I’ve made a decision: I’m willing to pay handsomely for your vote. Please contact me through my representative. You won’t be sorry. #1More4Pat.”
Considering he is 73 years old, he might be right. However, the odds are stacked against him because he is nominated along with Alex Trebek, Wayne Brady, Alex Trebek, Steve Harvey, Alex Trebek, Alfonso Ribeiro, and Alex Trebek. I will take, who actually thinks he has a chance of winning against Alex Trebek? Ah, that is why Sajak wants to buy the award, and I lost on Jeopardy.
To see if his evil plan worked, tune into CBS on June 26th to watch the awards show.
