Well at least they had a castle wedding!
March 9th, 2010 under Weddings. [ Comments: 1 ]

Jeff Parks and Terri Sanders had a white wedding and it took place at castle, but the only catch was the nuptials took place at a White Castle. The couple who have been friends for 18 years just recently started dating; and knew that they were the one for each other. So when Terri heard about the X103 White Wedding contest at White Castle, she had to enter because that was future husband’s place to eat. So on March 4th, the two gave new meaning to a quickie marriage and tied the knot at the fast food joint in Indiana. Congrats to the two, hopefully their marriage will last longer than the feeling you get after you eat one too many White Castle burgers.
Too bad Harold and Kumar were not available to witness the wedding and neither was Neil Patrick Harris to sing them the song for their first dance. Maybe Mr & Mrs Parks have inspired a second sequel for the franchise…Harold and Kumar Get Married at a White Castle.
BTW who else besides me is craving a White Castle hamburger???

Piers Morgan is getting married and not to Susan Boyle
December 18th, 2009 under Weddings. [ Comments: 1 ]

America’s Got Talent’s Piers Morgan (via Jam!) announced on his site that he is getting married, but sadly it is not to Susan Boyle. The winner of Celebrity Apprentice is marrying fellow journalist Celia Walden.

Piers has taken the plunge and proposed to his girlfriend of four years, Celia Walden – and she said yes! The happy event took place last week in that most romantic of cities – Paris, where the couple were celebrating Celia’s birthday. Back in June, Piers told Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs presenter Kirsty Young that he had got Stevie Wonder to record a little video proposal just in case he ever wanted to pop the question… We’ll look forward to finding out whether or not he used it or decided to go with his own words! For now though, it’s congratulations all round!

Piers Morgan is credited with introducing Paul McCartney to Heather Mills, I wonder if Paul introduced Piers to his current fiancee’?

The proposal that almost went up up and away
November 15th, 2009 under Marriage Proposals, Weddings. [ Comments: none ]

James Ng set out to propose to his girlfriend while they were up in a hot air balloon, but he didn’t expect the camera bag that he put the ring in to fall out of the balloon. Even though he was ringless, he still proposed to Sonya Bostic and she said yes. Being a good man he spent the next 7 days trying to find the ring and being a pastor, he had G-d on his side and he found that ring. Gotta love a happy ending!!!
After watching both those stories on Fox News, you have to wonder if men should be responsible with diamond rings???

Ron Livingston marries his former co-star

Office Space’s Ron Livingstone married his Standoff co-star, Rosemarie DeWitt in San Fransisco on November 2nd according to People. The two met on the show on that Fox cancelled too early and have been dating for over three years. I am kind oh bummed he is taken because he was just so darn cute in Office Space. And hey if their relationship can survive the cancellation of the show they worked on, I think they are going to be one of those Hollywood few who actually make it!

Marriage proposal gone bad!!!
April 3rd, 2009 under Marriage Proposals, Weddings. [ Comments: 1 ]

So some guy decided to propose to his fiancee on the Brooklyn Bridge, sounds romantic no? Well it would have gone better if he didn’t drop it into upcoming traffic. Luckily the guy was able to get it back and now he is engaged!
As bad as that proposal might sound, it is still better than the poor woman who swallowed her ring when he fiance’ put it her Frosty.
