Willie Garson has a sh!tty White Collar job!
July 27th, 2013 under USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Willie Garson is directing an upcoming episode of White Collar, and they made sure that Mozzie had only had the best. If you consider the best to be that his director’s chair was a throne, as in the porcelain kind.
Hopefully the is not a metaphor for how the episode is turning out, which I am sure it is not.

Matt Rogers talks about the time bears invaded USA’s Summer Camp!
July 18th, 2013 under USA Network. [ Comments: 1 ]

If you are like me, then last week you fell in love with USA’s Summer Camp that airs Thursdays at 8p on USA. Since then you have been wanting to find out what happens next to our 16 (now 15) adult campers who get to live their summer childhoods all over again and vie for the chance to win $250,000. What challenges does the show have coming up for them and who hooked up with who? Let’s be real, it’s camp and that is what we did when we were away from the ‘rents!
Well yesterday I was on the set of Home & Family that airs weekdays on the Hallmark Channel from 10a-12n and I got to speak to the host of Summer Camp Matt Rogers. You might remember him from season 3 of American Idol, so I wanted to know if he knew then that he would be where he is now. He told me, “I always had the vision and the dream of doing my stuff. Ever since I was 3 years old, I would take my little cassette tape recorder and my own Saturday Night Live show. So it was something I always wanted to do.” So now that he’s doing what he dreamed he wanted to do, he made sure to tell me is super grateful about it.
This isn’t the first reality show he’s done, far from it because in fact he’s been doing this for almost a decade. So what is he going to take away from this one over all of the others? He said, “I’m going to take away from this show, there’s still a way to produce good reality shows even after almost 15 years. There’s a lot of bad reality shows out there and I don’t think this is one of them. The format is super cool, the way it is shot is cool, the cast is hands down the best cast I’ve ever worked with and I’ve been doing reality shows for 9 years. I’m really proud of the cast that was put together and I’m proud of the show.”
He couldn’t stop gushing about the campers. He shared with me, “The cast is literally what makes up this show. The cast is unbelievable. My hats off to the casting department who found these people.” Then he added, “Even Chuck who is labeled the Sci-Fi geek. He’s a huge strong competitor. His personality is awesome and he is a great guy. But he basically won it for the guys in episode 1.” Then Rogers wanted us to take note, “Watch how strong of a little player he is for the guys in episode 2. He’s labeled as a geek, but that does not mean he is not a strong competitor. He is literally the backbone of the guys’ team. As the episodes go further you will see him develop a lot more.”
Chuck stands out to him, but which contestant surprised him the most? He revealed that contestant to be Lauren, who declared herself the mean girl last week and shocked everyone (including the viewers) when she wasn’t eliminated. He let us in on a little secret about her, “She comes off as the mean girl. Off-camera she really sweet. She plays the game really well, like it is a game. You want to have fun and develop relationships while you are there, but at the end of the day there’s a quarter of a million dollars on the line. She plays the game part of it really well. She embraced the theme of summer camp, she hooked up with the cute cowboy, made a couple of friends and some enemies because she is the mean girl. She surprised me a lot.”
While she surprised him as a contestant, what surprised him when he was doing the show. Here’s a story of something scary that happened when they weren’t filming, “Off-camera bears invaded the camp and we had to shut everything down. I had to scream on the PA, ‘Campers get back into your cabins, there are bears on the lot.’ So we’re really in summer camp.” So as you can tell things got really real on this reality show.
So when I asked him what he’d say to get you to watch this show that airs Thursdays at 8p on USA, he said “If you are a realty show fan, you’ve found your show. If you like reality TV, you need to watch this show because it has every single element that you are looking for.” As an instant fan of the show, I have to agree him. I know you will do them same when you ride the bus to Summer Camp! Just remember the best part about watching this show, is you get to see them do all the fun things we did in camp but with the air conditioner on and more importantly with no mosquitoes leaving their itchy mark on you. What more can you ask for?
BTW if you missed him on Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family today, you can watch a repeat of the episode tomorrow at 12n. You will want to tune in to see the awwwdorable video of his 5 year old son mastering the art of heckling at a recent Lakers game that he shared with the daytime talk show.

Who gets wacked on Royal Pains and who gets hacked on Necessary Roughness?
June 26th, 2013 under USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p Hank takes a much needed trip away from his vacation paradise on USA’s Royal Pains. When the good doctor is told he has 72 hours off, he goes to Budapest to meet Boris’ cousin Melosh. Once Hank is there, he will learn something shocking that you will never see coming and by the end of the night someone we know will be dead.
Meanwhile Divya and Jeremiah are in Savannah and things between them are awkward. Will he finally admit his feelings for her or will she go on not knowing how he feels about her?
You will have to tune into this game changing episode. That and to see the very talented Callum Blue playing Melosh, it is so nice having the Dead Like Me star back on TV.

Then at 10p someone hacks into V3’s computer system and makes them vulnerable for attack on Necessary Roughness. Connor had a good night because he took Dani to see a basketball game. His intention was to get her to work with a basketball player, and maybe if she fixes his problem he will sign up to be a client with the agency. Well the meeting between the three of them goes well, until the next day when V3 is attacked by an unknown virus. Now they are all struggling to get back online and get their sanity back in an insane type of situation.
While Connor is trying to steal someone from another agency, looks like someone is trying to steal TK away from V3. Will he stay or will he go?
When I watched the season premiere of Necessary Roughness, I wasn’t sure I liked the changes. But now that we are three episodes in, I am loving them. Tonight’s episode shows Callie Thorne returning to the playful Shelia we got to know on Rescue Me. I am not saying she is playing that role, but there were cute little things she did on that show that she does on tonight’s episode. I mean you couldn’t hate her character on that show and she is bringing that back tonight. Plus the chemistry between John Stamos and her is perfect. But let’s be real, it is John Stamos how hard is it to have great chemistry with him?

Hank’s fate revealed on Royal Pains and John Stamos joins Necessary Roughness!
June 12th, 2013 under John Stamos, USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p on USA’s Royal Pains we find out what happened to Hank (Mark Feuerstein) after his brain surgery at the end of the Winter special episode. The season premiere picks up a few months after the incident, and Hank is still trying to get his life back to where it was. But it is not anywhere near what it was like before the operation. His brother, Evan (Paulo Costanzo), has moved in and that is putting a lot of stress on his brand new marriage to Paige (Brooke D’Orsay). And in case you forgot they weren’t the only ones who said “I do” in the last episode; Divya (Reshma Shetty) did too and we get an update on if they are living happily ever after. It is a lot for HankMed to handle, but will it be too much? You will have to tune in to find out. And did I mention that someone is pregnant?
Just like a good doctor, Royal Pains gets better over time.
If you think that Royal Pains has gone through a lot of changes since its last episode, it ain’t nothing as compared to the amount of changes that Necessary Roughness goes through tonight on USA at 10p. The episode picks up a few months after the season finale and the Hawks have a new coach. He runs thing differently than Coach Pat Purnell, so much so that he fired Dani (Calle Thorne) after their first meeting. That news will spread faster than TK (Mechad Brooks) running for a touchdown and when Nico (Scott Cohen) hears it he comes out of hiding to contact her. Turns out he never left the city and he’s working for V3, a talent agency that specializes in sports stars. V3 is run by John Stamos, and he looks the part of a top talent agent. V3 has a client that needs Dani’s help, so she is brought in to work on him. Will it be a one time deal or does she have a new job? She isn’t the only who leaves the Hawks tonight, at least one other person is saying goodbye to the team
There are a lot of changes going on with Necessary Roughness this season, and it is giving the show a whole new life. Plus it is now and improved with John Stamos.

John Stamos behind bars for Necessary Roughness
May 5th, 2013 under John Stamos, USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

John Stamos Tweeted a picture of himself behind bars with Scott Cohen and Callie Thorne, and I wonder if they have something to tell us. Nope it is just the three of them filming a scene for Necessary Roughness. Although since the show films in Atlanta, you never know. Actors seems to get arrested there all the time…
