Will Anthony Michael Hall’s career enter the dead zone over the N word?
January 11th, 2007 under Anthony Michael Hall, USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Brat packer Anthony Michael Hall used the N-word twice while signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans last night, and it all went down outside the Laugh Factory, of all places. Hall, the star of such 80s classics as "Sixteen Candles" and "The Breakfast Club," uttered several obscenities as he joked around with fans and photographers outside the same Hollywood comedy club where Michael Richards made his infamous rant back in November. When a particularly large, Hispanic looking fan came up to Hall looking to take a picture with him, Hall jokingly said, "I am scared of this nigga right here." About a minute or two later, while posing for a pic with another fan, Hall says to someone off camera, "What up nigga?" Throughout the video, Hall half-seriously told several people to "get the f**k out of here" and joked that the cameraman would sell the video to a TV show — ha, close! During the taping, Hall also joked several times about being high.

Now we know why he only lasted one season on Saturday Night Live! I think he was joking. It wasn’t funny, but I don’t think he meant any harm.
Side note, I saw in Weird Science this morning on cable and it still freaks me out he is the same guy that did those movies. He looks nothing like he used to.

Can’t get enough of K-Fed getting smacked down…
October 16th, 2006 under Britney Spears/KFed, USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

During a rare taped episode on WWE Monday Night RAW® last night in Los Angeles, Kevin Federline, a.k.a. K-Fed got an up-close and personal look at the wrestling mat when he got into a heated altercation with WWE Champion and star of the recently released 20th Century Fox movie "The Marine," John Cena. K-Fed decided to put his bad-boy image to the test when the argument turned physical, but K-Fed quickly learned that Cena was not amused as the WWE Superstar proceeded to teach the husband of pop princess Britney Spears a lesson. Cena unleashed the wrong end of his hard-hitting F-U slam on Federline that was felt in the nosebleed section of the cheering Staples Center. The Hollywood peppered crowd included the likes of Jackass’ Steve-O and Chris Pontius, ZZ Top, Three 6 Mafia, Nick and Aaron Carter as well as Antonio Sabato Jr., among others. The footage of this live incident can be seen exclusively on tonight’s USA Network broadcast of the hit series Monday Night RAW® (9-11pm ET/PT).

Thanks Mrs. Schmitz!

He such a putz, but he is hot in his own special way!

Monk gets a dad for Christmas
October 10th, 2006 under USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Will the defective detective survive meeting his long-lost father? USA Network announced Tuesday (Oct. 10) that Emmy-nominated Dan Hedaya will guest star as the hitherto unseen father to "Monk’s" titular sleuth. The special holiday episode begins when Adrian Monk’s (Tony Shalhoub) quiet Christmas plans go awry when his father Jack Monk — who’s been absent for 40 years — drops back into his life. The son must leave Natalie’s (Traylor Howard) holiday party and take to the road with his truck driver dad, who has a very tight schedule. As if estranged family dynamics weren’t hard enough, it turns out the elder Monk has somehow gotten mixed up in a dangerous mystery and must trust his son to help him solve the case. The special episode will premiere on USA on Friday, Nov. 17. "Monk" is one of the highest-rated original scripted series in basic cable history and has earned Shalhoub three Emmys for portraying the brilliant detective who suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, a problem that he must circumvent in his daily life and to solve crimes.

I love Dan Hedaya, but I always pictured Mandy Patinkin as his dad!

USA renews The Dead Zone and Psych!!!
September 15th, 2006 under USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Although there’s no official confirmation from USA Network, my spies tell me that both The Dead Zone and Psych have been renewed. The Psych pick-up was a no-brainer, but Dead Zone? By all accounts, the just-concluded fifth season was supposed to be its last — although Anthony Michael Hall didn’t rule out the show coming back when he visited our podcast in June. It’s as if he was psychic or something!

Michael Ausiello

I am so freaking excited right now! There were rumors that The Dead Zone had released all the actors’ contracts before this season and no one was expecting it to come back! This made my day! I still get freaked how hot Anthony Michael Hall got with age!
And yes I am Psyched about Psych getting renewed too!
