Scott Clifton is leaving General Hospital |

TV Guide is reporting that Scott Clifton has opted not to renew his contract with General Hospital, but did not say what he plans on doing after the show. An ABC rep confirmed his departure, "I can confirm that Scott Clifton is leaving General Hospital. He last airs sometime in June. We wish Scott well in all his future professional and personal endeavors." I am sure he is going to be fine after he leaves the show whether he continues acting or working on his music career. Good luck Scott!

A Days of our Lives Wedding that leaves us “green” with evny |

|  Sami Brady and Lucas Roberts are finally getting married on Days of our Lives and they are doing it the green way!!! Green as in they are having an eco-friendly wedding, the first one in television history.
Days of our Lives teamed up with The Knot to make Sami and Lucas' special day more special and green. And unlike so many things you see on TV the props for the green wedding were actually real and eco-friendly. Here is a list of the vendors that helped to make Sami and Lucas' special day special.

So what made the producers decide to make the wedding that never seemed like it was going to happen go green? Ken Corday, Executive Prodicer of DOOL was inspired after watching the Oscars, "Best Documentary’ for An Inconvenient Truth is an indication of where the world is headed and how urgently we need to address the current environmental crisis, then it is important that DAYS OF OUR LIVES fall in step in helping to raise the viewers’ consciousness of certain environmental problems and solutions." And they have really been doing that even with the preparations for the wedding.
The wedding actually started today and the dress that Sami is wearing is just gorgeous. So if you miss part one of the three part event catch up on it on SOAPnet and then tune into NBC tomorrow at 1p to see the second part. If you don't get SOAPnet, don't worry today's episode ended with the does anyone object to this couple getting married. And we know in soap world that is a given and when you are talking Sami Brady there are several people that want to stop this wedding! So who will it be Kate? E.J.? Everyone who is attending? I cant wait to see, but I really want these two to get married already!!!
BTW you know that so many people are now going to start having green weddings after this one. Heck even I am thinking about it!

Passions might live on with Direct-TV |

Direct-TV is in talks to acquire Passions after it has ended it's run NBC in September according to Variety. If they pick up the show, it will only air 4 days a week and there will be an obvious budget cut. I hope Direct-TV picks up Passions then that will give me more hope that Days of our Lives will have a future if NBC does not pick up it's contract.

|  TV Guide has confirmed that rumor that Judi Evans will be returning to Days of our Lives, but not as Bonnie Lockhart. She will be returning as her first role on the show…Adrienne Johnson, Patch's sister. I have blogged several times how I wish she could be Adrienne again and now she is! Yay! I have always seen her as Adrienne, so it will not be confusing to be, but it will be interesting to see if actors and people will. I just hope they keep her! And how nice it would be if they brought back Wally Kurth too, since General Hospital isn't using him anymore!
Here is what she had to say about her comeback, "It's been 15 years since Adrienne's been on the canvas," Evans says. "God knows what's been going on in her life. Where did we leave off? She left Salem with Justin (Wally Kurth) and their three children. She was pregnant with their fourth. They were going to live in Dallas, Texas, where Justin was starting a company. All I know about the upcoming story is that I'm coming back to help my brother, Steve. I'm kind of going in blind!" I'll miss Bonnie because I'm a very bawdy person and I got a kick out of her," Evans says. "But I've missed playing Adrienne, too. I miss playing those high emotional life-or-death stories. Evans explains that her latest Days stay is open-ended. "I'm not sure if I'll be on contract or not," she says. "Whatever works for Ken. Basically, if Ken says jump, I say how high. I feel grateful to him for giving me so many golden opportunities. I'm just so glad to be going back to Days. Leaving there felt like a divorce. I felt like, 'Where's my family?' Hell, I'd clean the bathrooms just to work there again!

Variety says that Days of our Lives' Alison Sweeny is the new host of The Biggest Loser. She is replacing Caroline Rhea, who has decided to pursue other options. Did anyone know she was leaving the show?
Alison plays the b!tchy Sami Brady on Days, and she is perfect in the role. Saying that you can tell she is going to make a great hose because she has warm and vivacious personality!
