Last week, KTVI‘s April Simpson became an instant viral sensation when Kevin Hart posted a video of her from February 2013. In that video, he former co-anchor, Tim Ezell, called her The Hamburglar when he tossed to her because of the black and white stripped shirt she was wearing. Let’s just say if looks could kill, he would be dead right about now.
Since that video was such a huge international success, her newsteam decided to surprise her this morning. McDonald’s teamed up with Fox2 and had the real Hamburglar come to visit her during the 9a hour. Even though, it has been over 2 years since the initial incident, she still does that bitch face like it was yesterday. The make matters worse, she is a vegetarian so she couldn’t even eat any of the burgers that the fast food joint provided to the station.
I hope that KTVI continues to do things to piss her off because I love her bitch face. She does it better than anyone I know! Oh crap, I just felt her give me that death stare.

Sylvia Jeffreys spent the day with adventurer Bear Grylls and he made her eat a worm. The 9News reporter was asked to talk about her experience on their Today and the anchor Lisa Wilkinson had a deep question for her. She asked, “Did you swallow? Did you? Or did you spit out?” Jeffreys didn’t know what to do, but laugh in shock. Eventually she did get out, “I swallowed the worm.” To which Wilkinson replied with, “I am impressed that you swallowed. I really am.” The men at the anchor desk couldn’t control their laughter and were having problems keeping their heads up because they were laughing so hard.
Since Wilkinson wouldn’t let it go, Sylvia added, “Is there anything else you would like to say about that story I worked very hard on for many hours?”
I don’t know about you, but it sounds like Jeffreys had another type of worm in her mouth?!?
When it comes to Wilkinson, I wish someone recorded her reaction when she found out what what was so hysterical about her questioning? Preferably the man in her life!

April Simpson was getting ready to read the news headlines and everything was going fine in her mind. That was until her KTVI co-anchor, Tim Ezell, tossed to her. What’s the big deal? He called her Hamburglar because she was wearing a black and white shirt just like the fast food mascot. I guess she is not a fan of McDonald’s because if looks could kill he would be dead now. Actually, does anyone know if he is still with us because after all she did say she was going to get him back. Although maybe he got her a Happy Meal as a peace offering and all is good between them now. How can you not be happy when you start playing with the little toy that comes with it?

On Thursday, everyone became obsessed with what color is #TheDress. KTLA decided to do some heavy hitting reporting on it by going to LAX and asking people there about it. Eric Spillman thought he got a great exclusive, when he saw that Shirley MacLaine was entering the airport. Only problem is, that isn’t Warren Beatty’s sister. The woman he was talking to doesn’t even look like her. In fact, that woman looks about half the age of the Terms of Endearment star.
Now before you are like, how does a station based in Hollywood not know what a Hollywood star looks like, KTLA is the same station that employs Entertainment Reporter Sam Rubin, who can’t tell the difference between Samuel L Jackson and Laurence Fishburne. Maybe they need a crash course in Entertainment? It’s like working in DC and not knowing who the politicians are.
