Baby It’s Cold Outside since it is the end of December, so to warm us up Scrubs stars Donald Faison and Zach Braff sang the 1940’s song on a 75 degree day. I don’t know about you but Baby It’s Hot Inside for me after watching that duet.
The Exes star Tweeted, “Happy holidays from me and my brother from another mother Zach Braff.” Seeing these two brothers from a different mother and father together again makes me wish that ABC or NBC would bring back Scrubs so they can work together again. You know Zach doesn’t seem to be doing anything right now, so how about have him join the TV Land sitcom and get rid of the guy who doesn’t add anything to the show?
Now that Victoria Chase and Joy’s marriage is out in the open, the Daytime Emmy winner will do anything to promote it and recapture her fame. Tonight at 10p on TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland, the semi-happily married couple will go on a Gay Cruise and bring Melanie and Elka along with them. There is only one problem for the four straight women, the Captain of the boat is played by Giles Marini and he has a thing for three of the four roommates…and they have a thing for him. Not only does Melanie have that to do deal with that hot nautical man, someone she knows is on the cruise and now she has to pretend even harder that she likes women so she won’t upset this special person. Will the ladies be outed or will they get away with it?
So come aboard for another hysterical episode tonight and be surprised just how funny the naked Sex and the City movie man really is!
TV Land debuts its fourth original sitcom at 10:30p tonight, and I am shocked by how much I like The Exes. Kristen Johnson who plays a divorce lawyer who lives next her former-clients. The newest resident is David Alan Basche (The Starter wife), who is recently divorced and still thinks he can get back with his wife even though there is no chance in hell of that happening. Then there is Wayne Knight (Seinfeld) and it is obvious why he is divorced. Finally there is Donald Faison (Scrubs, Clueless) who is a player.
The two original guys like just living together and that’s it, while Basche wants to be friends with his roommates and that will being a new dynamic to the apartment. They are an odd pairing, but just like the show it works. And next week’s episode is hysterical as the very tall Kristen Johnson dates a Jockey.
The show has just as much humor as it has heart and that is what makes a great sitcom! So tune into it tonight and every Wednesday at 10:30p on TV Land after Hot In Cleveland that is back for a new season.
Fran Drescher is back with her own sitcom, so that means she will be reunited with her TV husband from The Nanny for the second time on TV since their sitcom together ended. Charles Shaughnessy is going to guest star on Happily Divorced in a future episode, but unlike what he played on the sitcom (Living with Fran) she had before this one, he won’t be playing her ex-husband. So I am curious what he will be doing on the TV Land show?
Now back to the picture that Maxwell Sheffield Tweeted of him and The Nanny, I love that they are as close as when they started playing those roles over 18 years ago? Can you believe it has been that long because it still seems like yesterday. Well maybe because I saw it on TV yesterday in syndication on a few channels.
When it comes to the 53 year old actress without makeup, I think she actually looks prettier without it. And of course the 56 year old actor is as sexy as ever.
I sincerely love seeing the two of them together again and I wish he was playing her ex-husband on Happily Divorced because there chemistry was always perfect. Seriously who doesn’t love the Nanny and her Mr Sheffield together?
Hot in Cleveland is back with all new episodes on TV Land tonight at 10p and our summer just got a whole lot funnier. In tonight’s season premiere we find out where Elka ran off too and when the girls finally they be trading Cleveland like LeBron James did? Tune in for another funny episode and to find out what place that makes Cleveland look hip they wind up in. See why these four women got the SAG Awards Ensemble cast nomination after just one season.
Then at 10:30p Fran Drescher and her New Yawk accent is back on TV with Happily Divorced. The show is loosely based on her life when her husband told her they both like men thus ending their marriage. Now that Fran (yes she is using the same name again) is divorced, she is back on the market and learning dating is not easy especially when her ex-husband still lives with her. For those of you (like me) who loved The Nanny, you are going to love this show because it has the same feel.
