Jim Gaffigan has a new show coming up on TV Land, so they gave him his own mascot and sent it out on to the streets of Manhattan. As soon as I saw the pictures, I thought that was the ugliest mascot I ever have ever seen. Who thought that was a good idea? Probably the same person who greenlit the sitcom that is like a cleaned up version of Louie.

Terry Crews is hosting this Saturday’s TV Land Awards and he did a memorable performance lip syncing some of the most iconic theme songs to ever grace our televisions. The repertoire includes The Addams Family, Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire, Friends, The Jeffersons, Gilligan’s Island, The Golden Girls, Laverne & Shirley and Good Times.
Good times is something we no longer get at the beginning of TV Shows and I miss them. So tof our Producer friends, can you bring them home because they’ve been stuck on Gilligan’s Island for way too long.

debuts on TV Land tonight at 10p, and it is unlike anything else that they network has ever done before. It is so different; it will be interesting to see if people will tune in to watch.
While the show is endearing, I don’t think fans of TV Land will watch it. It is not the right network for this show. Not only because it skews younger and is a single camera comedy, but because fans of the network are more used to traditional sitcoms. While TV Land’s audience might not tune in for it, new viewers might.
Liza Miller (Sutton Foster) is a 40 year old recent divorcee whose daughter has gone overseas for college. Now that she is all alone and in the need of money, she has to get a job. But being 40 and out of work for so long, no wants to hire her.
One night out with her best friend, Maggie (Debi Mazur) changes everything. She meets tattoo artist Josh (Nico Tortorella), and he thinks she is 26. So she applies for a job, claiming she’s that age, at a book publisher and gets it! The first person she meets Kelsey (Hilary Duff), who recently got promoted to assistant editor and the two of them hit off.
Now she is partying with Kelsey and her BFF Lauren (Molly Bernard), dating Josh, working for the head of Marketing Diana Trout (Miriam Shor) as her assistant and she hopes that no one finds out she is lying about how old she really is. How long will she be able to live the lie?
I would be lying if I told you I loved the show. I really like it, but I can’t say I love iy. I just feel that it sometimes tries too hard. There is one episode where Liza has to pull out Kelsey’s tampon and another one where Liza sells her used underwear to men for money. I think if they didn’t try so hard to be in your face that people would like it more. Since it is that way, I think it will find a hard time finding an audience. Especially because the audience that’s right for the show would be more willing to watch it on the TV Land app, but the network doesn’t have one.
I am not saying don’t tune into this show, I am just saying it will have a hard time finding the audience it needs on TV Land.
Hot in Cleveland and The Exes are back on TV Land tonight starting at 10p and there will be a lot of sex!
Hot in Cleveland is back and Joy (Jane Leeves) has made a decision to which guy she is going to marry. Will it be Simon (Craig Ferguson), Mitch (Tim Daly) or Bob (Dave Foley)? Let’s just say she will be more shocked when she tells him yes, than he is that she chose him. Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli) will sleep with one of the men she turned down. Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick) has a sex scene with Brad Pitt in a movie and it is really awkward. And finally Elka (Betty White) comes up with a way to make good on her promise about bringing jobs to Cleveland. She just had to go to NYC to come up with that idea.
Hot in Cleveland might be another season older, but the show is just as fresh and funny as its first season.
Then at 10:30p The Exes is back and Haskell (Wayne Knight) is dealing with the fact that Nikki (Leah Remini) told him no when he told her he loves her. Holly (Kristen Johnson) decides to get the two of them together and it works. How far will they go on their first date? Then we go back to high school with Phil and see how he messed up his first crush. He now has an opportunity to go out with her. Will it be just as good as when they were teens or you can’t go back to what you once had?
And did I mention Brandon Routh spends most of the episode in just his briefs? That’s right it’s Superman without his tights and he doesn’t need any cape to cover him up! Actually, he is so funny on the show, that I hope TV Land considers giving him a spinoff.
HIC and The Exes are the perfect pairing of sitcoms that will make you laugh and laugh until you pee in your pants. And who doesn’t need that on a Wednesday night?
Tonight at 10p on CBS’s Extant, Molly (Halle Berry) wakes up in the woods with Ethan (Pierce Gagnon), who does not wake up. As soon as John (Goran Visnjic) finds them, he calls for help. When the EMTs look at her, he tells them she’s pregnant and to check on the baby. They tell him there is no heartbeat. When she gets to the hospital, the doctors not only confirm she isn’t pregnant, but that she hasn’t been pregnant recently. Now she is trying to prove to everyone that she really was pregnant, but everyone is denying the fact including her good friend Sam (Camryn Manheim) who was the one who gave her the news in the first place. Will she be able to prove that she was with child or will everyone think she is crazy? And where is the baby?
Now, when it comes to Ethan, he is in a robot coma. He shut himself off to protect himself and they can’t turn him back on. Did Molly and John lose two children in one day or will they get one back?
You just have to tune in to this Sci-Fi drama to find out.
Also at 10p but on TV Land, Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli) runs into an old flame on Hot In Cleveland. As soon as she starts talking to Donald (Craig Bierko), she remembers why she ended things with him. But that doesn’t stop her from having sex with him one more time (which you can’t blame her because he puts the HOT in Hot In Cleveland). When they are done she tells him that Elka (Betty White) might be crazy because she acts like Kevin Spacey in House of Cards. After she makes that reveal, she finds out that he is Elka’s opponent’s campaign manager and the two candidates have a debate coming up.
Did Melanie just cost her friend the debate or will she somehow save the day? You will just have to tune in to find out in this very funny episode.
