So far this season John has shocked us on TV Land’s High School Reunion by telling an out former-classmate he doesn’t want anything to do with him because he is gay, used the N-word and refused to back down for saying it and treated women like crap, but none of those incidents are as bad as the one we are going to see tonight. On last week’s episode the Summer Girls and the Cheerleaders threw two different parties and John attended both and had drinks at both parties. As you can tell the Cheerleader’s one was a lot more fun and there was lots of alcohol consumed by all and there were two stripping poles where the classmates were showing off their stripping skills. As you can see he kissed Cyndi on the lips without her approval (because unbeknown to him she is married), grabbed Eric’s (the guy he said he didn’t want anything to do with it) crotch and finally grabbed Tracey’s boobs and kicked her when she called him out on it.
Watching that preview of tonight’s episode of High School Reunion on TV Land, leaves me in disbelief and sickened that someone can act like that. If a guy grabbed my boobs like that I would kick him in the balls. I am not a prude, but there are certain things you just don’t do and that is definitely one of them. After that incident the classmates get together to get John out of the house, will he go or will someone else leave rather than stay in the house with him. Tune in at 10p to find out.
While this is a big part of tonight’s show, there is also a positive thing happening on the show…a wedding in Hawaii!!!
On this season of TV Land’s High School Reunion we have seen more bullying than in years past and 4 members of the class of ’89 will be on Dr Phil today to talk about it. Two of the bullied Cyndi and Eric confront their high school and HSR bullies Elena and John on the show and Dr Phil helps them work through all that they went through for the 20+ years of their lives. During the season premiere of High School Reunion we saw when the now out Eric tried to tell John that he is proud to be gay and that he can no longer hurt him like he did in HS and John resorted back to the bully he was in high school and pushed him away. Now that we have watched the first three episodes of HSR we have seen that he hasn’t changed towards not only Eric, but other members of his class too. In fact tomorrow on TV Land at 10p we see as the class confronts him for using the N-word and he refuses to back down for using it. Will Dr Phil finally be able to help him realize his wrongs? Not to be spoilerish, but I think he did because I saw pictures of the Vegas screening of the season premiere and Eric and John were seen smiling together! But it wasn’t only those two who had a problem, former-nerd Cyndi confronts Summer Girl Elena for how she made her feel back in HS and on the show. The Summer Girls acted like they were better than all the women at the reunion and made fun of any girl that wasn’t in their click including Cyndi. Cyndi came to the reunion to prove she wasn’t the same nerdy girl she was in HS and even though the producers put her in the Summer Girls’ room, they still made her feel like an outcast. Will Dr Phil help Cyndi finally get past all she went through in high school and will Elena realize she is still a bully?
I can’t wait to watch Dr Phil today try to help these four members of Chaparral High School class of ’89 work through their bullying issues because if anyone can do it he can. But even better yet I can’t wait to watch High School Reunion tomorrow on TV Land at 10p to see as thCe class goes after John for using the N-Word!!!
High School Reunion is helping their third class celebrate their 20 year reunion on TV Land starting tonight at 10p and this season there will be a classmate that everyone (including us the viewers) will despise and his name is John. John is one of those guys whose mindset is like that of a country bumpkin. On tonight’s episode one of his classmates, Eric confronts him on a Detention to tell him that he is out now and proud to be gay and John is like I don’t care and get away from me. John then goes back to the house, makes fun of him and says all these homophobic things about him. On next week’s episode he gets Hall Pass to go on a date and one of the women in the house actually said yes to the date. The only reason why she did so, is she was hoping to talk some sense into him. When she tries to tell him what he says is hurtful, he tells her to shut up and he doesn’t care what she has to say. But before they had this conversation, he told her how he was going to pleasure himself in the car on the way back to the house thinking about her. Yeah, just when you don’t think it can get any worse on the fourth he week of the show he uses the N-word and as you can see in that exclusive clip above. When two of his classmates try to tell him that people find that word offensive he tells that only “you people” find it offensive. “You People” is him referring to them as Liberals, who he says love everyone. Ummm, only an ignoramus like him would think that. That is excuse for everything, you Liberals love everyone. Although I have only seen the first two episodes and this clip, I am really hoping that his former classmates can start to change the way he thinks, but by the looks of it and the amount of alcohol he seems to be consuming, I don’t think that is going to change and I hate to say it but it makes great TV. Seriously thought watching him makes me really sad that there are still people like him in the year 2010.
John isn’t the only interesting one on the show, there are all the Summer Girls which is a group of women who think they are better than everyone else. Cyndi who was a scrawny little nerd in high school, but now she is an exotic dancer. I can’t wait to see how the people who ignored her in high school will react to that news. Eric, as I mentioned before was in the closet when he was high school, but is now out and the people he was afraid would shun him for it are welcoming him with open arms.
HSR promises us that this season we will get not one, not two, but three proposals. At this point we don’t know who those three will be, but c’mon we are all suckers for a great marriage proposals! Well that and a good reunion with a bunch of people who don’t necessarily like each other.
This season of TV Land’s High School Reunion is by far the best one yet and I have only seen the first two episodes. So get your name passes on and tune to TV Land tonight an every Wednesday at 10p for a reunion you don’t want to miss!!!
Betty White could have a new Golden Girls on her hands if TV Land picks up the pilot she is shooting with Valerie Bertinelli, Wendy Malick and Jane Leeves. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The project revolves around three eccentric fortysomething best friends from L.A. (Bertinelli, Leeves, Malick) who wind up stuck in Cleveland and decide to stay there when they realize the locals consider them glamorous. White plays a grumpy and opinionated lady who has lived in the cottage of the trio’s Cleveland house for 50 years.” I so hope and pray that TV Land picks it up! I would watch it every time it airs on their network and I am not just talking about the first run episodes.
Hey TV Land if you pick this up, I promise I will post that the best season High School Reunion premieres tomorrow on TV Land at 10p, but if not I won’t mention it all.
On January 13th the 3rd season of High School Reunion will premiere on TV Land, but tonight you can catch up with the alumni of the first two at 9p! You will get recaps of the first two seasons and find out who is still together?, who is still feuding?, who made up? and who married a casting director from the show? Believe you will be surprised on the updates and you will be grateful that TV Land aired this because who didn’t want to know what happened to former classmates once they left the island?
Besides looking back at the first two seasons of High School Reunion, you will get a sneak peek of the one premiering next month and this season promises to be the best! I have seen the first two episodes of the upcoming season and I was already hooked on the Mike Fleiss show, but after watching the previews with scenes never before seen I am even more excited for the third season that starts on January 13th!!! Seriously this season looks so good with one of the biggest schmucks in the show’s history, a group of bitches, high school status standings remaining the same and not 1 but 3 marriage proposals! I know I can’t wait to see how this class from ’89 celebrates their reunion in Hawaii and I am sure I am not the only one!!! This is one reunion you want to attend so make sure to be there on January 13th and get a preview of it tonight at 9p plus a look back at the last 2!!!
