Legendary actor Tony Curtis passed away yesterday at age of 85 from a heart attack according to The LA Times. His daughter Jamie Lee Curtis released this statement about her father’s passing, “My father leaves behind a legacy of great performances in movies and in his paintings and assemblages. He leaves behind children and their families who loved him and respected him and a wife and in-laws who were devoted to him. He also leaves behind fans all over the world. He will be greatly missed.” He really will be, so today watch one of the movies like Some Like Hot, The Defiant Ones, Sweet Smell of Success or one of the other 100 films that he that will let his legacy live on forever!

Rumors have been circulating that he was on his death bed after spending 3 weeks in the hospital with pneumonia. Tony told Norm Clarke that people spreading those rumors "are going to look real silly when they see the photos in Vanity Fair." Tony will be featured in an upcoming article with photos and tales.
Film icon Tony Curtis is bouncing back from his medical issues, according to his reps, while emphatically denying a German report that he has cancer. "Absolutely untrue," a source close to Curtis said Friday. "He's making a remarkable recovery. He's walking and getting his strength back." Curtis, who recently was hospitalized for three weeks with pneumonia, was reported to be back in physical rehab. Curtis' assistant, Julie McRey, said the 81-year-old actor "does not have cancer. He's doing great. He has about two more weeks of therapy."
