Seriously? OMG! WTF?

DAVID Beckham will miss Tom Cruise’s Italian wedding today after being ordered back to Spain by Real Madrid. Beckham flew into Rome with wife Victoria yesterday, sporting a Starsky and Hutch-style cardie. But he was due to jet out again this morning after his coach Fabio Capello said: "David has to stay in Madrid to work this weekend." Asked if that meant Becks, 31, would miss the showbiz wedding of the year, Capello tartly replied: "That’s not my problem." The coach hit out as club officials learned that Becks and Victoria, 32, had touched down at Rome’s Ciampino airport for a pre-wedding dinner. The former England captain, who is thought to have an injured knee, was not due to take part in Real’s match tonight against Racing Santander. But in what fans will see as a humiliation he must still return to Madrid for training at 11am today, and watch the match which kicks off at 7pm. Only then will Becks be free to fly back to Italy to catch the last part of the reception at Cruise’s glitzy wedding to Katie Holmes, 27, at Odescalchi Castle, 25 miles outside Rome. Last night Beckham’s spokesman insisted there was no clash between the striker and club officials. He said: "David never thought he’d be able to attend the wedding. The original plan was for him to be playing and for Victoria’s sister Louise to be with her at the wedding. "If he’d been playing on Saturday he was potentially going to Italy after the game. He asked the club for permission to go after training yesterday." A Real Madrid spokesman said: "David had permission to go to Italy on Friday. "On Saturday he’ll be in training. He’ll also be at the match against Racing Santander, although he’s injured and not in the starting line-up." It is not the first time that Beckham, who is close friends with Cruise, has fallen foul of hardman Capello. Two weeks ago he was fined for turning up late for training after meeting US Open tennis champion Maria Sharapova.

Jessica Simpson’s mane man, Ken Paves, has edged out famed stylist Oscar Blandi to do Katie Holmes’ hair for her Nov. 18 wedding to Tom Cruise, Life & Style has learned exclusively. Ken landed yesterday in Rome, reporting for TomKat wedding duty, while Oscar is fully booked for appointments this weekend and has no travel plans, one insider tells Life & Style. Oscar did Katie’s hair for about 12 years, and then she introduced him to Tom and he did Tom’s hair on Mission Impossible III, says an insider close to Blandi. "So there were all of these reports that he was doing her hair for the wedding, but he’s not," the insider says. "He’s so bummed because he doesn’t know what to tell people. He’s not mad; he’s disappointed. He always did Katie’s hair. And for the last couple of years, he’s done Tom’s. He thought he was a sure thing to do this wedding. But he never got the call."

It’s clear that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are excited about their wedding in Italy on Nov. 18 — but Tom should tell his driver to slow down! At approximately 1:30 p.m. EST today (7:30 p.m. in Rome), the couple were in a fender bender, a witness tells Life & Style exclusively. It all began when Tom and Katie exited their hotel, the Hassler, on their way to their rehearsal dinner at Nino. The couple waved to a gaggle of fans and jumped into a black Mercedes van, says the witness. “Tom and Katie sped off down a little alley, and there was a tiny silver Mini parked on the right-hand side of the alley,” says the witness. “The Mini was starting to pull out as the TomKat car was speeding down the alley. Tom’s car hit the front left-hand bumper.” The collision left a deep foot-long scratch on the vehicle. The Mini’s driver, an Italian man in his early 30s, was visibly upset but unharmed. Says the witness, “He just had this look on his face like ‘I’m just trying to drive here!’" When Life & Style approached the man, he responded in English with a strong Italian accent, “I’m OK. I don’t know what happened. This crazy world.” Tom didn’t let the incident slow the couple down! He and Katie made it to the rehearsal dinner on time. Tom even dined on one of his favorite foods — gnocchi!
