Todrick Hall was born in 1985, so he is an ’80s baby. Therefore, he grew up with those tunes from that decade in his head when he was a baby.
Now, he is mashing up all of the songs stuck in his head into one, and every one of the artists involved will tell him he has the right stuff. Maybe not New Kids on the Block because they are not in it, but Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Rick Springfield, Journey, Bon Jovi, and the other ones that are still with us will want to dance with somebody when they hear it.
So boys and girls, let’s have fun and get physical with 4 the ’80s all night long.
CBS announced which celebrities are taking part in this season of Celebrity Big Brother. How big are the names? Let’s just say Dancing with the Stars has more stars, and they barely have any.
So who are the people we are supposed to know? They are Cynthia Bailey, Todd Bridges, Todrick Hall, Chris Kattan, Chris Kirkpatrick, Carson Kressley, Teddi Mellencamp, Shanna Moakler, Mirai Nagasu, Miesha Tate, and Lamar Odom.
I wonder how far down the list of prospective famous people they had to get this group of houseguests. Was it like the bottom? And how badly do these celebs need a paycheck?
The only person I would tune in to see is Todd Bridges. Other than that, no one interests me. What about you?
If you plan on tuning in CBB, it debuts on February 2nd.
We are just hours away from the theatrical release of The Greatest Showman, and Todrick Hall put together a medley of the songs from the musical’s soundtrack. I know that Hugh Jackman is playing the lead, but personally I think that Hall is The Greatest Showman. What he does with the musical mashups is nothing short of pure magic. It is a true 4-ring circus, like in lions and tigers and bears and clowns, oh my!
Todrick Hall has done it again! He has created another magical mashup that is so spectacular, it is hard to believe that it was not originally just one song. He has already done it for Disney movie songs, TV themes, the ’90s and artists like Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and so many more. Now he is doing it for the 2000s and you will be downloading a lot of singles you forgot about like Shaggy’s It Wasn’t Me and Leona Lewis’ Bleeding Love.
Seriously, this guy has more talent in his little finger than most of today’s artists have in their whole bodies. Why isn’t he getting more recognition than just being in Taylor Swift’s music video for Look What You Made Me Do. Dare I say it, I think he is more talented than she is. I mean, look at all he did in this video, he picked the songs, mashed them up to be one tune that includes ballads and pop hits, sang the whole thing and shot four versions of himself singing in sync (not *NSYNC but their music was highlighted in it). How many other artists can do that? Very, very few.
We have seen and heard Todrick Hall do mashups to the music of Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Beyonce and TV themes and now he did one of the ’90s. While I will openly admit, I am not a big fan of that decade’s music, he made me change my mind with 4 The ’90s.
He took some of the biggest chart toppers from boy bands like Boyz II Menz, Hanson and Backstreet Boys, girl bands like Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child and TLC, the Jackson family, solo artists like Coolio, Whitney Houston and MC Hammer, Disney stars like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On from Titanic to make one slammin’ megamix.
I seriously do not know why this guy is not taking home all of the Grammys, American Music Awards MTV Video Awards and Billboard Awards because he is the most talented musician out there these days. Seriously, doesn’t he just blow you away?
