Rosie told The View she is going to Nip/Tuck? |

Is Rosie O’Donnell joining the cast of "Nip / Tuck" full time? That’s what Rosie said during a break on the set of "The View" today. She said she’s been offered the female lead of the show since Joley Richardson is leaving for a year. She said that she’d play the character of Dawn Budge, who was introduced in a guest role this past (the show’s 4th) season. Dawn would be the owner of the plastic surgery center and do things like "sneak Cher in the back door" and then hire paparazzi to take pictures. Rosie added that it would be a 15-week shoot in LA. She didn’t say if she was going to do it, but it sounded very much like she’s leaning towards it. No word on how this could affect her schedule with "The View," but Rosie has said that she’s only signed on to co-host for one season of Barbara Walters’ morning talk-fest.

I hope this is false because I hated her on Nip/Tuck.

Rosie O’Donnell vs Kelly Ripa over Clay Aiken |

If a guy who’s– how do put this– gayish but not openly gay, covers your mouth on daytime TV and you later scold him for it, could that be considered homophobic? According to Rosie O’Donnell, the answer is yes. Today on The View, Rosie called Kelly Ripa out for the way she reacted to Clay’s manhandling on Regis & Kelly. Ripa didn’t take to kindly to the insinuation that she’s a homophobe, so she called in to The View this morning to give her side of the story. Who’s side are you on: Rosie’s or Kelly’s? And is it even possible to be called a homophobe when the person you’re talking about isn’t even gay? Well, openly gay. Best Week Ever After watching the clip of Clay on Regis and Kelly, I have to tell you I side with him. She would not let him get a word in edgewise and he tried all he could to say anything. I have also read that she puts her hand over Regis’ mouth, but since I do not watch the show I have no way to know if that is true. Now when it comes to Rosie, I do think she jumped the gun by calling Kelly a homophobe. I also think that Kelly did not help her case by calling in. In fact I think it made her look worse. I have also read that Clay did appologise to her and you can see he was remorseful for his actons on the show…what more does she want him to do? Below is the clip of Clay Aiken co-hostin on Live with Regis and Kelly:

The View boss Barbara Walters wants Rosie O’Donnell, who starts as co-host on Tuesday, to stop blogging about the show. "I didn’t like the blog," Walters tells Newsweek of a post in which O’Donnell complained about a promotional skit for the new season. "I saw the new view promos," O’Donnell wrote on her Web site. "Found myself/ in the position/ I loathe the most/ powerless." But Walters is hoping O’Donnell will be a team player. "I’m counting on Rosie’s intelligence and sensitivity and humor," she tells Newsweek. "This is, after all, an entertainment show. It is based on people who like each other and are having a good time, not on people who are arguing and unhappy." Soon after Walters spoke to the magazine, she called back to say she’d just received flowers with a card reading, "Barbara, I only want the promos and the show to be great. And I love you. Love, Ro." O’Donnell also says she has no hard feelings toward former co-host Star Jones Reynolds – although she admits she’d refused to be a guest on The View when Reynolds was there. The differences started, O’Donnell says, when "we had a little sort of discussion when Martha Stewart was in prison, when I questioned why it is women don’t stick up for each other the way other minorities do, such as O. J. Simpson being accused of murder still had the support of the majority of the black community." O’Donnell says Reynolds "was not happy with what I said or the way I said it. The next day, she told me she didn’t appreciate what I said. I told the bookers, ‘I’m glad to fill in if you need someone – if she’s not there.’ I don’t want to fight with her." But O’Donnell says she had no hand in Reynolds’s dismissal. "I would love to think I had the kind of power to say ‘Fire her,’ " she says. "But what would my motive be for ruining her life?"
People (Thanks Clinton)
OK, here a few how long question? How long until she does a major mistake? How long until they get into a fight via the media? How long do you think she will last?
