Billy Crystal was a guest on The View today, and he talked about his movie Standing Up Falling Down. As he was finishing up the interview, Joy Behar said to him, “Listen, Billy, can you give me a facial later? That is what I want to know.”
Since the hosts and the guests are all in remote locations, there was a time delay until he heard what she actually said. When he finally heard it, his mouth dropped open to the floor, and he said something unintelligible back.
Thankfully, his friend Whoopi Goldberg had his back when she told her co-host, “He can give you many things, a facial is not one of them.”
Now, I bet you are wondering why she would ask him for one on a daytime talk show? It is because he starred as a dermatologist in a movie. Although, I bet you thought he was played a porn star after that question.
Now go, picture him portraying a porn star who is giving her a facial. Why should I suffer alone?

We know that Jussie Smollett was written out of the last two episodes of Empire this season, but will he be back next season? Today, when Taraji P. Henson was on The View, Joy Behar asked her that very question. Henson told her, “Yes, I haven’t heard anything else.”
Personally, if Empire, that is down in the ratings, is back for another season, I hope they do not bring him back. I find it hard watching him since everything that happened. I know all the state charges are dropped, but still. Do you want him back?

Whoopi Goldberg has not been in view on The View and people have been wondering where she is. One theory is that she is hosting the hostless Oscars on Sunday. Today, Joy Behar revealed on the ABC daytime talk show that that is not the case. The Oscar winner will not be at the Oscars because “she is on maternity leave.”
Wait, what? Did she really have a miracle baby? Nope. After that shocking reveal, Behar came clean. Goldberg is recuperating from pneumonia. Therefore, if she is too sick to host her day job, she is definitely too sick to host Hollywood’s biggest night.
Last week, there were rumors that Paula Farris left The View and looks like she is not the only one. Page Six is reporting that Sara Haines is giving up the talk show to host the third hour of Good Morning America with Michael Strahan at 1p that debuts in September.
Haines joined ABC in 2013 and The View in 2016 after several guest appearances.
Haines departure leaves Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Meghan McCain on the panel and I think that is just enough screaming head at the table. What about you?

Jason Ritter stars in the very endearing, must watch Kevin (Probaly) Saves the World Tuesdays at 10p on ABC, and his character has to hug people to help save the world. Therefore, ABC declared today National Hug-a-Kevin Day. Where are Kevin Bacon and Kevin Spacey when you need him? And ladies, I am pretty Kevin Hart’s wife would not like you to hug him today. Too soon?
Anyways, to honor the day, yesterday on The View, Ritter attempted to break the Most Hugs in Minute. The record belongs to someone who hugged 79 people in :60 seconds. Is Ritter now in the Guinness Book of World Records? Yes he is! He hugged 86 people in the allotted time and some more afterwards. Proving that he is not probably, but he is the most huggable guy in the world.
BTW Am I the only one who sees his father, the late John Ritter, in him?
