The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad are all back tonight!!!
September 27th, 2009 under Seth MacFarlane, The Simpsons. [ Comments: none ]

The Simpsons is back for its 20th year tonight on Fox at 8p and the show is not running out of ideas and it is still as good as season one. On tonight’s episode Comic Book Guy actually writes comics and Everyman is getting turned into a movie. Comic Book Guy works out a deal that he can pick who is going to play the lead and he chooses Homer Simpson. Of course he made a big mistake and you have to check it out tonight to see just how bad of decision it is!
Following The Simpsons at 8:30p is The Cleveland Show and I will write a review of this sure-to-be Seth MacFarlane’s latest hit in another post!
Next up at 9p is Seth MacFarlane’s first show on Fox Family Guy and this show gets funnier and funnier each season. Tonight Stewie has a machine that transports Brian and him through alternate universes. They go to different universes where one is like The Flinstones, one where they are human, another where dogs walk their human pets, and the best one is where everything is drawn by Disney. Disney will not be happy with it, but I thought it was hysterical!!! I can’t wait to see what else they have coming up this season because the Emmy nominated show just keeps getting better and wronger!
Wrapping up the night at 9:30p is American Dad and it is great way to end the night. Steve is asked to sing the national anthem and Stan decides to coach him to do it right. Of course Stan isn’t happy with the way he sings it, so he takes him to a war recreation to get the feeling of being proud to be American and hell breaks loose…much like the war they were recreating.

The Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror XIX spooks us tonight!
November 2nd, 2008 under The Simpsons. [ Comments: none ]

Halloween is not complete until The Simpsons’ airs its Treehouse of Horror episode and tonight at 8p on Fox Halloween sadly comes to an end. Tonight’s episode does not disappoint and is one of the funniest of them all! That Mad Men parody leads into one of the funniest things they did, that leaves a lot of celebrities and cast of The Simpsons dead! Wait to you see who dies! Also in tonight’s episode they take on The Great Pumpkin and of course their is an election bit in there too!
So tune into Fox tonight at 8p and finish off Halloween properly with The Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror XIX!

The Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror is back on November 2nd!
October 6th, 2008 under The Simpsons. [ Comments: 1 ]

For the 19th year in a row The Simpsons will have another special Halloween Episode of Treehouse of Horror!!! I am so glad that they are doing another one because they are always my favorite Simpsons episodes of the season. Treehouse of Horror XIX will air on November 2nd.
BTW because I am more of a Seth MacFarlane girl, I am happy to say that Family Guy did better in the ratings by getting around million more viewers than The Simpsons according to James Hibberd!!!

The Simpsons cast wants more money, means less episodes

The voice actors from The Simpsons want more money and until they get they won't come back to the show according to Variety. They want to go from $360,000 to $500,000 plus bonuses per episode to sit in a room and read lines. Poor babies. They want an extra $140,000 an episode while families larger than the cast make less than half that in a year.
Production has been already been cut from 22 episodes to 20 and if they don't come to terms soon the amount of episodes will be cut even more.
Personally let them cut away because of the actors crappy attitude I am done with the show that hasn't been good since they were making double-digits an episode.
Long live Family Guy, American Dad and Cleveland!!!
