Tonight at 8p, The Simpsons does a dramatic episode on Fox.
There is a new bad guy in town, and he has come to collect a debt from Ned Flanders. In the process, people are going to wind up messing, and some will even be killed. What did Flanders do to get himself into such trouble? You just have to tune in to find out. That and to see whose wife Flanders is philandering around with.
Who knew he was so bad? That is what makes the first part of this two-episode storyline so good!
Are you sitting down? You are about to learn something that is going to rock your world.
You know those iconic Homer Simpson burps that rattle your soul? Well, Dan Castellaneta, who voices the beer-loving patriarch, is not the one who makes those belching sounds.
Nancy Cartright, who plays his son Bart, revealed that she is the voice behind them.
Don’t take her word for it? Take her burps for it.
I just love that a petite woman is the one who makes such a powerful sound. That and her addictive laugh.
Yeardley Smith shared a photo of herself with her neck slashed, so who else besides Bart Simpson would want to do that his sister, Lisa? We don’t know. We will just have to go see her horror movie, Possessions, which she is also an executive producer on, to find out.
Now let’s talk about what a great job the makeup department did. It really looks like someone cut her open from ear to ear.
Before Hank Azaria was Chief Wiggum on The Simpsons, he was just a police officer on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He looks the same now as he did when he was 26 in that 1990 episode.
The Simpsons has been on the air for so long that on Sunday, it will air its 700th episode. In honor of the milestone, they asked Bill Plympton to animate the couch gag. What we got is a cool and different take of the show’s opening. One that is so out there, I am all trippy over it.
When it comes to the episode itself, we are going to learn something new and secretive about Ned Flanders. What will be? I hope it is something kinky, like when we learned what a sexy body he has.
