After what seems like forever, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally got married today. It was a beautiful, but long, ceremony that was witnessed by several people us Yanks would recognize. Celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, James Corden, David and Victoria Beckham, Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams, Idris Elba, Elton John, Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford, James Blunt, Gina Torres, Patrick J. Adams and Troian Bellisario, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Abigail Spencer, Gabriel Macht and Jacinda Barrett.
They all got to see her walk down the aisle with Prince Charles in white silk off the shoulder dress designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy. The 5-meter long veil had a flower representing each of the 53 countries of the Commonwealth and one for her native state of California.
Then when it was over, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex walked out of the church and gave the onlookers a sweet kiss. There first of many.
Like the fairy tales say, “They lived happily ever.” Until they get a divorce…
Before Meghan Markle had her big wedding to Prince Harry today, she got married to Patrick J Adams on Suits last month.
Her TV husband had some sweet words for her, he wrote, “Going to bed now and thinking a lot about the strange surreal and wonderful day my friend Meghan is going to have tomorrow. Meghan – wherever you are – we are so grateful to be here to watch you both take this monumental step together. Love deeply and live well. #RoyalWedding.” Then he followed it up with, “I’m beginning to think she might not actually be out getting milk.” A reference to his Tweets when she announced her engagement. I hope she gave him some milk as a joke.
Something he and the cast and crew of Suits did not drink (except for that baby who is getting some) when they celebrated their coworkers’ nuptials last night at the last supper. Look how happy they are to see her marry a prince. Something 8 years ago, they would never have expected to happen. But it did! And now the actors are being treated like royalty for a day, today.
Meghan Markle might only have one family member at her wedding tomorrow, but several of her castmates from Suits will be there too. Today, Rick Hoffman, Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty all spoke to Today about if they knew she was dating Prince Harry before we did. Hoffman says that he knew about it early on. The two of them talked about it in her trailer and he got all giddy when she told him that she was dating a Prince.
He also told a sweet story that 5 years ago, he was about to go dateless to a wedding in Paris because he just broke up with his girlfriend. Not wanting him to be alone, she offered to go with him. Of course, he said yes and the producers made it possible for them to go. Now, he flew across the pond to go to another wedding, hers to Prince Harry.
Rafferty also said that even though Markle and Patrick J Adams are no longer part of Suits, their spirit is still felt on the set as they are shooting season 8 without them. Today, also broke that season 8 of Suits and Torres’ spinoff will debut next year.
One last note, even though Adams, who is there with his wife Troian Bellisario from Pretty Little Liars, and Gabriel Macht, who is there with his wife Jacinda Barrett from Real World, were not part of this interview, they are in London and will be at the wedding with their costars. I am so happy she invited them because they always felt like a family on the show, now we know they really are one.
Yesterday, Meghan Markle announced that due to his health, her father would not be coming to her wedding tomorrow. Today, she revealed who got that honor and it is none other than her future husband’s father, Prince Charles.

As soon as there were rumblings that Thomas Markle might not go to the nuptials, I thought if the actress was smart, she should ask Prince Charles to fill her father’s place. So happy she did.
There is another piece of good news form Buckingham Palace, Prince Phillip will be there tomorrow just weeks after getting hip surgery. I am sure his grandson is so happy to have him there. Unlike his fiancee, who will only have one family member in attendance, her mom. The most important person to any bride.
After a week of is Meghan Markle’s father going to attend her wedding on Saturday, she finally announced his decision through Kensington Palace.

About two weeks ago, Thomas Markle suffered a heart attack and yesterday he underwent surgery to repair the damage.
When it comes to who will walk her down the aisle, we do not know. I think, if she wants to get in really good with the family, she should her ask her future father-in-law, Prince Charles, do it. Imagine how much they will love that honor?
