Finally the day has arrived, the day Drew Carey starts hosting The Price Is Right on CBS! I can’t wait to see what an awesome job he does on the show because from the sounds of that video he definitely has the right attitude!
Wait now we have to tune into The Price is Right on Monday, October 15th to find out if she was actually able to hold it in or did she go to the bathroom up there. After all she was hidden up there and she won $20,000 so she can afford a new pair of jeans.
And is it just me or when she ran up to meet Drew Carey she kind of sounded like she was really excited…you know the bedroom like excited?
I can’t wait to watch Drew Carey (my first choice) host The Price is Right and find out if that woman was able to go potty on Monday!!!
Thanks Dane!
2007 is Drew Carey's year! First he comes back in a big way with CBS's Power of 10, then he gets the game show dream job of a lifetime hosting The Price is Right and now word is that he is engaged to his live-in girlfriend! Good for him! I hope 2008 and 2009 and so on are just as successful and happy for him because he is known as one of the best guys to work with in this town!!!
BTW his first appearance as host of The Price is Right is this Monday, October 15th and we all know he is going to kick a$$! By November sweeps we will all be going Bob Barker who?
While Drew Carey was promoting his new game show on CBS Power of 10, he answered some questions about an old show on the network. Here is what he told Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith about The Price Is Right:
"There are all kinds of rumors all over the Internet, because rumors are all people have to report with," he observes. "I love how these things get going. A friend of mine and I were talking about how Rosie O'Donnell was made into a possible host for 'The Price Is Right.' You know, someone asks Bob Barker backstage at the Daytime Emmys, 'What would you think of Rosie O'Donnell taking your place?' And just to be polite, he goes, 'Yeah, sure. Why not?' So then she's taking general meetings all around town, thinking about what's coming up for her after 'The View,' and someone says, 'What about 'The Price Is Right'? It's all over the Internet that Bob Barker wants you to take his place.' And she says, 'Yeah, sure. Why not? I'm meeting with CBS Thursday.' And it all started from this stupid question someone asked Bob Barker."
OK, Drew, but how about your hosting "The Price is Right"? "Yeah, sure. Why not?" he replies, laughing. "It would be fun to do, I think. If something happens, yeah."
I really hope he is offered the job as the host of the show because I think he would be fantastic in the role.
