August 29th, 2013 under The Neighbors. [ Comments: 3 ]

Jami Gertz is back working on the hilarious The Neighbors on ABC and the Executive Producer Aaron Kaplan shared a picture of her on the set from an upcoming episode. Even though she has been in the business for over 30 years (not that it shows), she still looks like she did when she first started out.
Now when it comes to why she is donning Bo Derek’s hairstyle from that 1979 movie, we will just tune in every Friday at 8:30p starting on September 20th to find out.

Toks Olagundoye knows how to take a beautiful selfie!
August 25th, 2013 under The Neighbors. [ Comments: none ]

The Neighbors Toks Olagundoye is hard at work on her hilarious ABC sitcom The Neighbors. So yesterday when she had the day off, she decided to have a lazy day. That means the actress got to stay in bed and not worry about putting on any makeup. Looking at the selfie she shared on Twitter, she doesn’t need any help to look gorgeous.
Most people’s selfies look kind of dorky when they make those stupid duck lips for the camera; but because she didn’t do that her photo came out absolutely stunning.
BTW if you made the mistake and missed out on The Neighbors last season for whatever reason, you can catch up on the whole first funny season on DVD when it comes out on September 24th. And make sure to catch the season premiere on ABC Friday, September 20th. This was the best new show from last year that you missed out on. It’s a smart comedy that has great messaging for the whole family to enjoy together. So why not check it out because what else are you watching on Friday nights?

The Neighbors is something to sing from the rooftops about tonight!!!
March 13th, 2013 under The Neighbors. [ Comments: none ]

On tonight’s The Neighbors on ABC at 8:30p Larry Bird (Simon Templeman) and Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Toks Olagundoye) sneak out and go to see a musical. When they get back they decide to do one with other aliens. Larry and Jackie hold auditions that are reminiscent of a few singing competitions that we watch and we get a lot laughs at how stupid those other shows are by this.
Once the singers are selected we get a musical number that will be stuck in our heads and laughing for weeks as we watch it over and over again.
But all great musicals must come to an end, and this one will when one of them falls down the well. Now they risk being exposed when they try to get that person out. Will this musical have a happy or a sad ending? You will just have to tune in for the best musical episode since the Buffy one!
Plus something happens at the end of the episode that will change things for some of our favorite cast members. I don’t want to sing like a canary about what it is, so I will tell you to just watch it. And I will promise that you will love love love love this episode as much as I do.
In fact I think it is the best episode of television this season!!! It is that f*cking fantastic!

The Neighbors is sick tonight so make sure to catch it like the common cold!

Tonight at 8:30p on ABC’s The Neighbors the awwwdorable Abby Weaver (Isabella Cramp) brings the first sickness into the Hidden Hills community and Larry Bird (Simon Templeman) has a plan of action how to handle it. He wants to quarantine The Weaver household like you do when you are trying to get rid of termites, but Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Toks Olagundoye) likes how Debbie Weaver (Jami Gertz) is nurturing her daughter and wants to do the same. But since Larry Bird is so afraid of the common cold, he won’t let any of the aliens get near any of the Weavers. So Debbie is stuck taking care of her whole family all by herself when they get sick. Will the Zabvronians listen to their leader or will they listen to their hearts? You have to tune in for an episode that has such a sweet moment, it actually brought a tear to my eye.
Seriously if you not watching The Neighbors, you are missing out on fall’s most enjoyable show, so watch it tonight and every Wednesday at 8:30p on ABC.
