The Goldbergs is back on September 21st and they will be paying homage to The Breakfast Club in the season premiere. There are so many iconic things about that John Hughes movie including the theme song Don’t You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds. The show’s star Hayley Orrantia recreates the music video for it, which came out long before she was even born, to promote the sitcom’s new time and it is perfect! So much so, John Bender would give not one arm but two!
Talking about time, the show’s creator revealed a big spoiler for this upcoming season. Adam Goldberg said, “Spoiler alert, I’ve set this season in the specific year of 1980something.” What year do you think it is set in? Since TBC came out in 1985, we know that it has to take place some time after that.

One of the funnest things about watching The Goldbergs, besides all the laughter and touching moments, is seeing what like totally tubular sweater Beverly Goldberg is going to wear in each episode of the ABC sitcom.
This season as Wendi McLendon-Covey puts it, “Bev has a sweater that pays tribute to other sweaters!” What a tribute it is! Can’t wait to see how they incorporate it into her wardrobe when the show comes back on September 21st.
You know what would be groovy to the max for me? If they finally had her wear a Benetton B sweater that was like so popular in the ’80something. Especially since Bev’s name starts with a B and she can totally think that they created it just for her! Awesome!

When you and I go back to work after a long vacation, we look absolutely miserable. Not Sean Giambrone, he showed up to his first day back on The Goldbergs grinning from ear to ear. Little Adam Goldberg is so excited, it not only puts a huge smile on your face too, but it makes you even more excited for the 4th season premiere on September 21st!
Seriously, isn’t the 17 year old just the sweetest? Just like his character!
When it comes to the 4th season of the show, I want them to cover 2 things. The first is someone finally wears a Benetton Rugby. The second is they pay homage to the very special episodes like they did in the ’80s on sitcoms. Lainey and Barry decide to have sex, Erica goes to a party and her friends want her to try pot while Adam goes to a party and their designated drive, and the only one who can drive, gets too drunk to drive.

Weird Al Yankovic doesn’t look like he did in the ’80s, but he will for one night only on The Goldbergs, February 17th. The Schlock Rock singer put on a curly haired wig, found an old of his glasses and grew out a mustache to transform into his former-self. If you didn’t know it was 2016, you would swear we were back in the ’80something. It is like he hasn’t aged a day in 30 years.
In all seriousness, he has aged really well. Can you believe he is 56? He looks just like he did when he was 26. I want to know the number to his Like a Surgeon.
