The CW says yes to Melrose Place 2.0 and no to Gossip Girl spinoff?
May 7th, 2009 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

We are over a away before the networks announce what shows they will officially be adding to lineup, but that doesn’t stop leaks from spoiling us. Nikki Finke got the gossip about The CW and according to her there is no xoxo for the Gossip Girl spinoff. When it comes to Melrose Place 2.0, it looks like it will definitely be moving into The CW this fall.
While I am bummed Brittany Snow and Matt Barr won’t be telling their love story in the ’80s once a week next season, I am still looking forward to what could’ve been this Monday at 8p!

Still hope for Privileged!!!

We are about a month away from finding out which bubble shows will or will not be coming back next season. The Live Feed us giving an update on the biggest bubble shows and looks like there is now a glimmer of hope that Privileged will be back on The CW next year as a midseason replacement!!! If you are like me and want to save this underdog of a show then go to Watch with Kristin's Save One Show and vote for Privileged over and over again! Save One Show is a very powerful thing because in the past it has saved Veronica Mars and One Tree Hill for getting cancelled!
While the news is looking good for Privileged, the bubble is looking all but popped for The CW's Reaper, NBC's Chuck, Fox's Terminator and CBS's Eleventh Hour. So if you want to save them, make sure to go to Save One Show and vote for them.
And two ABC shows that might have gotten their fates handed to them in one Tweet from Michael Urie, is that Ugly Betty is coming back a week early and it is replacing what could've been Samantha Who's final episode. So in other words sounds like ABC will pick up Ugly Betty and make Samantha Who? just a memory. Too bad Sam Who? isn't on the SOS list because I love this show.

Another Melrose Place 1.0 alumni moves into MP2.0!
April 6th, 2009 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday it was announced that Laura Leighton was reprising her role as Sydney Andrews on The CW’s Melrose Place 2.0, now comes word her ex-brother-in-law and ex-lover Dr Michael Mancini aka Thomas Calabro will also appear on the updated version of the show a source confirms to me. According to People he will play the father of David Patterson, played by Shaun Sipos. Whose David’s mother is and how he has a kid old enough to live on their own has yet to be explained, but I am sure we will figure that out when the pilot airs…if it airs??? But forgetting all those details I want to see Michael’s face when he realizes that Sydney is alive and well… Now that just made the show pick-upworthy for me!!! I am finally excited for Melrose Place 2.0…are you?
BTW if you could have anyone from Melrose Place 1.0 join 2.0, who would it be?

Melrose Place 2.0 casts its first alumni resident!
April 5th, 2009 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

There have been a lot of rumors which Melrose Place 1.0 alumni would land on The CW's Melrose Place 2.0 and now The Hollywood Reporter has the truth who it will be. Laura Leighton aka Sydney Andrews will reprise her role as the landlord of the place. It will be interesting to see how they will write that she is miraculously alive after getting hit by a car and back at her old residence running the joint???
Oh to be a fly at Lisa Rinna's when she found out that Leighton was cast before her after all that campaigning she has done.

Reaper is back to send souls to hell tonigth!
March 3rd, 2009 under The CW. [ Comments: 1 ]

Reaper has finally been released from Hell to heat up TV again tonight on The CW! Season 2 picks up 4 weeks later with Sam, Sock and Ben returning after spending the time on the road. The guys come home to no apartment, no job and for Sam no Andi. But one thing that remains a constant is that Sam’s contract with his dad(?) the Devil still has him sending escaped souls back to hell. But when Sam tries to send a soul to hell, the vessel doesn’t work on someone who says he broke his contract with the Devil; Sam gets hopeful he too might get his life back!
After watching tonight’s episode, I remembered just how much I love this show and I am so glad it is finally back! Whether you watched the first season or not, it is not too late to get hooked on this fun original show tonight and every Tuesday on The CW at 8p!!!
