The fourth new show to get a full season pick up is…
November 8th, 2017 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday, my friend asked me is Dynasty dead? I told him, you never know with The CW. I mean it is doing poorly in the ratings. It go no buzz after the May announcement. Heck, it does not even get hate viewing feedback, which it totally should. Therefore, its demise seemed logical. Well to most people, and none of those people seem to work at The CW. That’s because the network gave it a full season order. Which means people like me who do not know why they are watching because it is so painfully bad, will be wondering for a few months why it is still on the air and when will it be out of our misery.

The only conclusion I can come to is now that Victor Garber and Wentworth Miller are leaving DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, that is show is over. Thus, CW is looking for its replacement. Although I think Lucy Hale’s new show Life Sentence has a better chance.

Are you also suffering through Dynasty like me and my friend?

The Originals is ending next season
July 20th, 2017 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

A year after it was announced that The Vampire Diaries was ending its run, Executive Producer Julie Plec announced that next season of The Originals will be its last. While it is sad to see a show go, at least they had 5 seasons which is a lot more than many other shows. Plus, they have a whole season to prep for the end.

Even though The Originals is not immortal like its character, The CW drama will live on in our hearts forever.

Do you feel like someone put a stake through your heart over the cancellation or have you wanted to send this show off into the sunlight for a long time?

We are around 4 months away from the start of the 2017-2018 TV season and today The CW announced when their shows will be back. While most shows on broadcast television will be back in September, we will have to wait until mid-October for them to come back to TV on The CW. Although waiting sucks, good things come to those who wait. I have seen Dynasty and you are going to love it. Can Arrow’s Stephen Amell beat the American Ninja Warrior course?
May 18th, 2017 under NBC, Stephen Amell, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

We know that Stephen Amell is good at stunts on The CW’s Arrow, but how is he in real life? Next Thursday, we will find out when he attempts the American Ninja Warrior course on the Red Nose Day special. In the above preview he is pretty impressive. Actually, he is more than impressive. He worked those Fly Wheels like a real Superhero. I have not been this wowed by him since Hung, but that was for a completely different reason!!!

Here’s The CW’s Fall Schedule
May 18th, 2017 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

The CW announced their Fall Schedule today and all but Tuesday is different.

Monday nights start off with Supergirl and that leads into their new show Valor.

Tuesdays remain the same while Wednesdays is all new. The night starts off with Riverdale based on The Archie comics characters and ends with a remake of Dynasty. As of now none of the originals have been cast, but Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW told me he would love to have them on if their schedules allow.

Thursday finds Supernatural in another new timeslot followed by Arrow on its new day and time. This has proven to be a good pairing in the past, so hopefully it won’t be destroyed by its major competition like TGIT, TBBT and TIU.

Finally, Fridays reunite Crazy Ex Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin. I am happy to see them back together.

Even though there is a lot of change, I think they did a good job with their schedule.

On a CW Seed note, they are adding Everwood on June 1st and Dynasty on August 1st. If you not familiar with the original you can binge it before the remake. Which I will be doing!
