Who knew Sylvester Stallone was so short?

Sylvester Stallone might play a big man in the movies, but when he is standing next to two basketball players it is a whole different story. Rambo met Detroit Piston’s Boban Marjanović and Andre Drummond and he looks so tiny next to them. Granted they are both over 7′, so most people will look small next to him. But it is still a cute photo.

This toddler has the eye of the tiger!
July 13th, 2016 under Sylvester Stallone. [ Comments: none ]

Zack Magilavy’s son Charlie loves Rocky II so much that he can recreate the training montage throw by throw. He can do the push-up, the jump roping and punching the bag.
The two year old, who has been practicing for a year, is such a knock out that Sylvester Stallone said, “This kid makes me so proud that it touches A heart so young … Maybe I have to fight him and ROCKY 10 !!!” So I guess now we know that not only did Rocky survive Creed, he is well enough for one more fight! A fight for the ages. Or should I say all ages because it will be between a toddler and a senior citizen.
Back to Charlie, doesn’t his huge smile at the end just make you so happy? I know I was rooting as hard for him as I was for Rocky in the second movie. Rocky! Charlie! Rocky! Charlie!

Strong is strong, Flip for Nashville Flipped
April 13th, 2016 under NBC, Sylvester Stallone. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2ty8v8cvkE
Tonight at 9p on NBC, 10 women will be paired with 10 of the country’s top physical trainers all in an effort to become Strong.
The episode starts off with the women having to choose which trainer to work with. How will they know who to pick? Each of the trainers will compete in a test. They will have to break through a concrete chamber in order to get a pulley so that they can lift 500lbs. When they are all done with the challenge, the women randomly pick which man they want to work with.
As soon as the teams are selected, they compete in their first challenge. They will have to work together in order to win. The winner not only moves on to the next week, they get to pick which team goes up against that challenge’s last place team in the elimination chamber.
That is when things get ugly. Believe it or not, the men on the show are more catty than the women. In fact, in the first two episodes that air tonight, you will see how bitchy they are about going to the elimination chamber.
Now back to the elimination chamber, it is a four story torture course that is grueling to complete. The winner moves on and the loser… Well you have to watch, in order to find what happens to them.
The women are not only doing this to become strong, they are also doing it for a $500,000 cash prize. Hey money talks.
Strong is not normally the type of Reality competition I watch, but I really liked watching the Sylvester Stallone and Gabrielle Reece show. I enjoy watching the women transform and the men act like bitches for once.

Then at 10p on DIY Network is Nashville Flipped. Nashville is a charming town with charming houses, but some of them have lost their charm. That is where Troy Dean Shafer comes in. He buys the house, asses what he can do with them to make them habitable and more modern, works his magic and then sells it for a profit.
Tonight he bought a rundown bungalow for $105,000, will spend $90,000 to fix it up and then plans on selling it for $250,000. When you see the house, you think it is a complete tear down. But his designer friend Alex Cirimelli and him think they can turn this trashed 1932 Craftsman style bungalow into a 2016 dream home.
So they get hammers and start demolishing the place in order to find the charm underneath. That wouldn’t be so bad, if the house wasn’t full of crap. Something they especially discover when they remove the toilet. Yeah.
Anyways, once they get to the core of the house, they find out the staircase is not up to code and needs to come down. This actually helps them out because now they can move it to a much more convenient location, Only problem is it is a cost they weren’t expecting.
As Shafer paints the house, Cirimelli searches for things to put in it. Together they turn this eyesore into a beautiful home that anyone would want to own.
I have to admit I have never watched a show like this before, and now I see why people get hooked on this. The transformation is amazing and they do it so fast. Why can’t the contractors we hire be as fast as them? And do as good of a job.

Sylvester Stallone is a big old softie!
May 12th, 2015 under Sylvester Stallone. [ Comments: none ]

When you think of Sylvester Stallone, you think of him as the action who’s starred in Rambo and The Expendables or the boxer Rocky. Turns out he has a different side too and it’s a much softer one. He shared a photo of himself sleeping with his furry puppy and how can you not have go awwwwww. I like seeing this sweeter side of him, hopefully he will show it more often like he did in Oscar. I loved that movie. I know, I am the only one.

Imagine a Star Wars with Sylvester Stallone as Hans Solo!
August 15th, 2014 under Jimmy Fallon, Star Wars, Sylvester Stallone. [ Comments: none ]

Sylvester Stallone was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon asked him about some of his Expendables 3 co-stars. The NBC late night host asked him if he knew Harrison Ford from working in the business for so long. Rambo told him a story that after he finished filming Rocky, he went in for an audition for some move about a space vehicle called Star Wars. As soon as he walked in, he could tell they were all like next. So before they could say anything, he gave them a one, two punch of “Let me just make it easier for you. I would look like crap in Spandex, leotards and a ray gun. I get it.” Then he added, “Guys from Space don’t have this kind of face.”
So even though he didn’t get the role in one of the biggest franchises of all time, he did OK for himself. Even though in a way Arnold Schwarzenegger almost sabotaged his career because the two of them were up for the same movies. Because of that Sly would do things like Stop or My Will Shoot, so the Terminator wouldn’t get the role. Which is a movie I really liked to be honest.
