Yesterday, it was announced that Jensen Ackles and his wife are working on a prequel for Supernatural. While he won’t be starring in it, he will be voicing the narration. He was so excited; he was telling everyone. Everyone, but one person.
That person is his TV brother Jared Padalecki. When the younger Winchester heard about it, he took to social media and wrote, “Dude. Happy for you. Wish I heard about this some way other than Twitter. I’m excited to watch, but bummed that Sam Winchester had no involvement whatsoever.”
Since the two fake brothers are real jokesters, their fans thought that Walker, Texas Ranger, was joking. He was not. When a fan asked him that, he said, “No. It’s not. This is the first I’ve heard about it. I’m gutted.”
That is some f*cked up sh!t. It was not Ackles’ show; it was equally both of their show. The fact that he is working on a prequel and didn’t tell him. It makes me think he truly is a demon.
I hope Padalecki works on a sequel without Dean Winchester.
Having said all of that. Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley didn’t tell any of the other Saved By the Bell co-stars about the revival. Yet, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani-Amber Theissen, and Lark Vorhees appeared on it. Maybe there is hope.
UPDATE: All is good between the Winchester brothers. Jared Padalecki wrote, “@JensenAckles and I had a great talk, as we do often, and things are good. The show is early in the process with miles to go. We’ve travelled a lot of roads together, and sometimes those damn roads have bumps. Bumps don’t stop us. Once brothers, always brothers. #spnfamily” All is right again in the world. Well at least for a minutes.
Earlier today, I posted a photo that some say that Leonardo DiCaprio is unrecognizable. I knew it was him. However, I know Jensen Ackles posted this photo of himself, but I still don’t believe it is.
The clean-cut actor from Days of our Lives and Supernatural has longer hair and a thick beard now. As a result, he looks more like Wil Wheaton than himself.
I hope the beard is for his role as Soldier Boy on Amazon Prime’s The Boys because that has to go. When it comes to the hair, I hope he keeps that.
Shortly after the Oscars started, Misha Collins started trending on Twitter. That is because people saw him there and wondered what he was doing at the Academy Awards.
When he saw his name trending, he took to social media to explain what he was doing there. “I am at the #Oscars tonight with my BFF since I was 12. He has won two Oscars tonight so far for his film, #SoundOfMetal. So proud of you, @dariusmarder.”
Marder co-wrote Sound of Metal, and the film brought home two awards, one for Best Editing and the other for Best Sound. While Marder did not win for Screenplay, his film got the recognition it deserved.
Congrats! It is the first Oscar winner I am going to watch today.
It is has been 15 years since Jensen Ackles started filming Supernatural with Jared Padelecki, and now the two of them are getting ready to film their series finale.
As Ackles prepares to say goodbye to Dean Winchester, he made a little video revealing two words from the final script. Those words are “the end.” As he showed us them, he started to get choked up. He is not the only one, so did I. Are we the only ones, or did a tear come to your eye too?
The final episodes begin airing on October 8th, and the series finale airs November 29th on The CW.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, The CW’s fall lineup is going to look a lot different than it normally would. Gone are our favortie shows, and we will say hello to acquired shows from other sources like CBS All Access’ Tell Me a Story and DC Universe’s Swamp Thing.
However, there is one show we know, and it is coming to an end. Starting on October 8th, they will begin airing the final seven episodes of Supernatural. Does it really have to end?
I guess it does because today Jensen Ackles announced what he will be doing next. He is reuniting with original Supernatural EP Eric Kripke, and he is joining the cast of The Boys on Amazon Prime as Soldier Boy. His character is described as, “the original Superhero. After Soldier Boy fought in World War II, he became the first super celebrity, and a mainstay of American culture for decades.” Season two of the anti-Superhero show debuts on September 4th. You can watch the first season now.
