Leonard Nimoy coming out of retirement…already?
January 24th, 2011 under Star Trek. [ Comments: none ]

Last April Leonard Nimoy announced that he was retiring from acting after he filmed the season finale of Fringe. Well today the man also known as Spock Tweeted, “Plans developing for a William Bell return to Fringe. Stay tuned. LLAP” I guess you can say retirement is a place he isn’t boldly going…and I am not complaining.
Unless I am reading too much into his Tweet because it looked like in the finale that William Bell is dead…and we never did see or learn if there is a Bellternate??? Just saying!

BTWF roles: Chris Pine on CSI: Miami
October 27th, 2010 under Before They Were Famous, Chris Pine, Star Trek. [ Comments: none ]

Before Chris Pine was Unstoppable, the police stopped and talked to him on CSI: Miami. Doesn’t the 23 year old actor look great with longer hair in that 2003 episode?

Chris Pine is a CHiP off his father’s block!!!

Chris Pine was walking the red carpet for the premiere of his new movie Unstoppable and his proud father joined his son. How precious is it to see the Star Trek captain with his CHiPs daddy Robert Pine who played a sergeant on the show. Seriously isn’t Chris his dad’s mini-me?
BTW here is a little factoid, Chris Pine made his acting debut on his father’s show CHiPs.

BTWF roles: George Takei in The Twilight Zone

Before George Takei boldly went where no man has gone before in Star Trek, he crossed over to another dimension in The Twilight Zone. It is weird not to hear the 27 year old actor talk in the voice we know him for today in that 1964 episode.

BTWF roles: Leonard Nimoy in Queen for a Day
May 20th, 2010 under Before They Were Famous, Star Trek. [ Comments: none ]

In honor of Leonard Nimoy’s last role on Fox’s Fringe tonight because he said he is retiring after it, here is his first role in Queen for a Day. OMG how good looking was the 20 year in that 1951 movie. I have always only seen looking like Spock in Star Trek, but now I can see him as so much more! I hope he enjoys his retirement as much as we have enjoyed his acting!
