The Carrie Diaries will drive its way into your heart tonight!
February 11th, 2013 under Sex and the City. [ Comments: none ]

The Carrie Diaries is the sweetest and realist show on television and tonight’s episode is so good you will fall in love it with just like you did with your first crush in high school!
Carrie is taking her driving test, but that isn’t the only test of her freedom she will experience tonight. She meets a new man and his name is George. She actually met him before because he is her dad’s best friend’s son. He invites her to his mother soiree in the city and of course she accepts his offer. Now she will need to find the perfect dress for the night, but misinformation from George will make her have to change that dress in a way only she can. If she was worried about her dress fitting in that is nothing as compared to her trying to fit in with Manhattan’s elite. Can our little Carrie break through the ice princesses or will she do one of her epic runs through the city?
But it isn’t only about her, her friends back home will also be going through a lot. Mouse’s boyfriend is coming home for a visit and she is afraid that she won’t be able to please him. So she will get a quick course on sex from a buddy and don’t tell me you didn’t do that with at least one of your friends? Then there is Maggie who will do anything to keep the diner from being taken over by Donna and her gang. Can Sebastian save the day or has he changed to be like his new girlfriend?
And then there is Carrie’s dad and he is going through the biggest change of them all!
Tonight’s episode of The Carrie Diaries will have you laughing and crying and then laughing some more. In fact I saw this episode with a bunch of other reporters on Friday and I had to fight back the tears because I didn’t want them to see me cry. Carrie has a scene about 3/4 of the way through that anyone who lost a parent can relate to. Then there will be a resolve that is so endearing you will cry because of it. I know crying doesn’t always make you want to tune in, but it is not sad tears that will be flowing down your face. Plus you will find yourself smiling more than anything else with this episode that will remind you how much fun our teen years used to be!
So whether you have been watching The Carrie Diaries since day one or tonight will be your first episode, you will want to make sure to watch because this a show we need to come back season after season after season!

BTWF roles: Kim Cattrall in Quincy, ME
December 24th, 2012 under Before They Were Famous, Kim Cattrall, Sex and the City. [ Comments: none ]

Before Kim Cattrall was the strong one in the relationship in Sex and the City, she was married to an abusive man on Quincy, ME. She looks the same now as she did when she was 20 in that 1997 episode.

Jason Lewis shouldn’t wink!

Jason Lewis came out for the premiere of Apres Mai at the 69th Venice Film Festival. Even though he looked straight of the pages of GQ in that suit, there was mistake he made that he never should make again. He might be gorgeous, but I’m sorry he can’t wink. I am not sure anyone can, and sadly he is with the majority on this one. Better luck next flirtatious pose.

Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni legally tied the know in NYC yesterday according to Us Weekly. The two women have been dating for 8 years, engaged for 3 and they have a 15 month old son together.
The Sex and the City star was previously married Danny Moses whom she had a son and a daughter with.
I hope this is just one the first of many celebrity same sex marriages that happens in New York and the few other states that allow smart enough to allow it.

Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker bring the ’70s back
April 25th, 2012 under Sex and the City. [ Comments: none ]

Fame Flynet Online
Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker took their son James Wilkes to see Nice Work If You Can Get It and I think the happy family look more like they are going to Studio 54 in the late ’70s. Seriously don’t the pictures look more like they are from the Disco era than they do look like they were taken yesterday in the year 2012? Between her dress, Matt’s glasses and both of their tuxes, I am ready to see them put on their Boogie Shoes instead of their Louboutins.
