Stewie left a message for all those Emmy voters out there, Vote Family Guy for Best Comedy or else! Hopefully they are hip enough to know how to use YouTube because Family Guy so deserves the win!!!
Last week I spoke with Seth MacFarlane at the Fox TCA party and when I asked him about the much deserved Emmy nom, he was sincerely humble about it. He told me, “It should’ve been The Simspson ideally. The Simpsons should’ve been the first to get it, but if it can’t be them then I’m happy it us.” As you know I respected Seth MacFarlane a lot before that interview and now I respect him a whole lot more since I spoke with him. BTW I will post that interview in the next few weeks.
UPDATE: Stewie just posted another video trying to get his point across that Family Guy deserves the Emmy over The Office and Flight of the Concords. Seriously has anyone ever watched that HBO show?
I love Seth MacFarlane’s humor because it is so wrong, but it is so funny! And this video of shorts of Things You Never Hear is a perfect example of that! There were a lot of things I never thought I would hear, but now that I have heard them I feel so much better!!!
Tonight on Family Guy, the show pays homage to one of the greatest (if not the greatest) horror writers of all time, Stephen King! After Peter discovers King’s books, he pictures his friends and him in them. Considering what a wonderful job Seth MacFarlane and the writers did for Star Wars, I can’t wait to see what they do for Stephen King on Fox at 9p because I know it will be genius!!!
In one of the oddest and most original TV show crossovers in television history; Family Guy’s Stewie (yes the animated baby) will be on Bones (the live action show) as Booth’s hallucination tonight! When this crossover was announced, I was like how are they going to do it and tonight we finally get to see how! Just from that one clip, I really liked how they are doing it and can’t wait to see how it all turns out! That and I hope we are finally going to get some Booth and Bones action…you know where he rattles her bones!!!
BTW out of all my TV viewing it hit me last week that Bones is one of the very few shows I look forward to watching every week as compared to half-a$$ watching like so many of the others! So find out tonight on Fox at 8p why I love love love this show so much!!!

Before Seth MacFarlane created Family Guy and American Dad and became Fox’s highest paid guy, he created Larry & Steve for his former employer Hannah-Barbera back when he was in early 20’s! The 7 minute short aired on the Cartoon Network and caught the eye of some Fox execs that gave him contract to create a show that would eventually become Family Guy.
Seriously how awesome is it to see Seth MacFarlane’s genius when it was in its early stages! And how many voices in that short sound like the ones we hear today on his hit shows! On that note, his latest show Cleveland has yet to premiere but Fox has already picked it up for a second season!
BTW am I the only one who is crushing on Seth MacFarlane?
