We have seen Billy Eichner bring his shtick to the streets of Manhattan, but the one street I never that I would see him walk was Sesame Street. That all changed because he got to travel where the air is sweet and hand out cookies to the Muppets on Sesame Street with Cookie Monster. He asked them things like “Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?” He also asked The Count what is his favorite number is. While that one did not go over that well, it went much better than when he tried to ask Oscar the Grouch a question.
You know who is not grouch? Anyone who watches this video because it is pure joy! That is why it is always a sunny day there, sweepin’ the clouds away!
It’s Tuesday, and we all have the blahs. We all need something that is going to make us smile. What better way to do that than to watch our favorite Sesame Street Muppets read quotes from films like The Wizard of Oz, Top Gun, Forrest Gump, A Street Car Named Desire, Poltergeist, Naked Gun, The Karate Kid, The Terminator, A League of Their Own, A Few Good Men and so many more. The only one missing is Oscar the Grouch doing the infamous line from Network! Even that omission is not making me mad as Hell!
Seriously, didn’t this just sweep the clouds away? I know it did for me! How can you not chuckle when you head Elmo say, “There’s no crying in baseball.”
Josh Groban might have turned 36 earlier this week, but that doesn’t mean he can’t act like a kid every now again. Not only did he make his Broadway debut in the last few months, he is also filmed his Sesame Street debut yesterday. By the looks of the huge smile on his face, I think he is having the time of his life. Who can blame him? I mean he got to hang out with Cookie Monster and he is like the coolest Muppet on the street!
This isn’t the only thing he has in the works with children, he also has a song on Beauty and the Beast’s upcoming soundtrack. To hear Evermore, then click here!
Jason Derulo is no novice when it comes to working with kids who dance because he judged the last season of So You Think You Can Dance where all of the contestants were little ones. Therefore, it makes sense that he would be the one would show Sesame Street’s Elmo and Abby how to get their funk on with a song called Dancing is Easy.
Not only is it is easy, it is also fun to watch. Didn’t the dancing lesson just bring a big smile to your face?
Sesame Street is getting into the Christmas spirit by singing Deck the Halls with Audra McDonald. Her nearly two month old daughter is going to be so excited when she is older and realizes her mom is friends with Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster and more. Christmas will be even more special at her preschool when they show that.
