Grimm is back for its final chapter
January 6th, 2017 under Sean Hayes. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8p is Grimm’s final season premiere on NBC. If this episode is any hint what we can expect from the final episodes, they are going out with a spectacular bang.
Nick (David Giuntoli) and Renard (Sasha Roiz) are still in their epic battle and both will go to great lengths to kill the other one. Renard has the police force on his side while Nick has friends, who are in smaller numbers but they are more powerful. They are also smarter, and they will come up with a brilliant way to take down Renard. You will love what they do, but there will be consequences for Nick.
Who will win? We will have to tune every week to find out and you will want to tune in.

Grimm got some grimm news
August 29th, 2016 under Sean Hayes. [ Comments: none ]

The good news is that NBC announced today that Grimm will be back on January 6th. The bad news is they also declared that it will be the show’s final season.
Although the news is not unexpected, because their episode order was cut from the normal 22 down to 13, it is still heartbreaking. It was one of the few Horror shows on Broadcast TV that got better over time. They knew how to perfectly mesh the scare of the week with the mythology. Something most shows only know how to do one or the other in any given episode.
I will try to see the positive in this news, at least they have time to prepare for the end and not leave us with one of their suspenseful cliffhangers like ALF, Soap, Benson or V unfortunately had to do because they were cancelled without any notice.

UPDATE: Here is what we can expect from Grimm’s 6th and final (sniff sniff) season:

As for events leading into the final season, the nefarious forces of Black Claw have been silenced and Nick (David Giuntoli) faces an all too familiar foe in Capt. Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz). Now in the seat of power as the mayor elect of Portland, Renard is poised to bring rise to his own brand of law and order. Nick must take a stand to protect his city and those closest to him, especially his child with Adalind (Claire Coffee). It will take the full force of Nick and his allies to find a way to bring the peace.
Meanwhile, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) grapple with bringing a child into a new and tumultuous world, and Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) faces unsettling identity issues as her former self lurks below the surface.

Sean Hayes says he ‘basically gave birth to a child out of his my penis!’
May 25th, 2016 under Sean Hayes, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: none ]

Sean Hayes was heading to a matinee performance of his show Act of Gd in LA when he suddenly had to pee. But then he had a pain so intense like he never experienced before. One so bad, he asked them to call him an ambulance. When he got to the hospital, he found out that he had a kidney stone that was getting ready to pass.
They say it is the male equivalent of having a baby and he agrees. He told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, “I basically gave birth to a child out of my penis!” A notion he took so much to heart that he named his baby The Rock. The Rock even looks like a smaller version of Dwayne Johnson, don’t you think?

It all comes down to tonight on Grimm!
May 20th, 2016 under Sean Hayes. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8p on NBC, it is Black Claw against the Grimm (David Giuntoli) and his friends Hank (Russell Hornsby), Eve (Bitsie Tulloch), Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) there will only be one winner. Not only are we going to witness an epic battle between good vs evil, one not everyone is going to survive, we are going to get a lot of answers tonight.
The first thing is we are going to learn just how powerful Renard (Sasha Roiz) and Adalind’s (Claire Coffee) young daughter Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) is. It is scary the things that she can do and you don’t want to mess with her. It starts off simple and sweet when you see her use dolls to make her parents, who hate each other, kiss. But after that she has the kiss of death. Who will she kill?
Then Wu (Reggie Lee) is left alone in the police station, Black Claw comes after him. He turns into his Wurewolf self, but is that enough to save him from this attack?
Tonight’s episode isn’t only gloom and doom, there will be some happy news is the midst of all the madness. What is it?
And then there is the Stick. You have been wondering what it can do, and tonight you will see why it was hidden for so many centuries. It is even more powerful than you could’ve imagined.
All of this, leads to a shocking cliffhanger that will leave you wanting more. But sadly, we won’t get that for a few months.
Tune in for a real nail biter of an episode that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the whole two hours.

Ut-Wu, Wu’s grimm secret is revealed tonight on Grimm
April 29th, 2016 under Sean Hayes. [ Comments: none ]

Remember a few weeks ago on Grimm when Wu (Reggie Lee) was scratched by a Lycanthrope, which is like a Werewolf? Tonight at 9p on NBC, his full Lycanthrope comes out in front of people. So much so, he seeks help from Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell). Unfortunately, something happens to him that postpones his meeting, and winds up exposing his genetic mutation normally only found in Blutbaden to Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby). Will they be able to save him or is he too far gone? It’s something we have wanted to know since they hinted he was going through this transformation.
But he isn’t the only one with a secret. Will Adalind (Claire Coffee) finally tell him that she is a Hexenbiest again? Now that she is reunited with Diana, what will happen next?
Lots will be revealed tonight in this exciting episode with a wolfderful performance by Reggie Lee, and you don’t want to miss a single second because it is all setting up for, what I am sure will be, a spectacular season finale.
