See Scott Baio run a bath!
February 18th, 2013 under Scott Baio, Taking a bath. [ Comments: 1 ]

Last week Mariah Carey Tweeted a picture of herself taking a bubble bath and it looks like she has started a trend. Yesterday Scott Baio Tweeted a picture of himself in the tub and said, “Is anyone casting for a new Alfalfa? @NickelodeonTV”. I guess he can star in that show along with his other Nick-at-Nite show See Dad Run. I would watch an adult version of Our Gang!
Now back to clean celebrities, I wonder which celeb will be the next one to Tweet a picture of themselves taking a bubble bath? Let’s hope it is someone we want to see doing it like these two!

Kenyan orphans want Charles in Charge of them
January 23rd, 2013 under Scott Baio. [ Comments: none ]

Two guys, who went over to Kenya and worked at an orphanage there, taught the kids the theme song to Charles in Charge. Out of all the opening numbers from television shows, I feel bad that the orphans were taught this one. Not because it is bad, but you can’t get it out of your freaking head. They are probably still singing it as I type this.
BTW here is what Josie Davis, who played Sarah Powell on the show, Tweeted about the video “Kenyan Orphanage taught “Charles in Charge” what the hell??” I have to say I totally agree with her!

Scott Baio really knows his celebrity crotches!
October 23rd, 2012 under Scott Baio. [ Comments: none ]

Scott Baio was on Watch What Happens Live yesterday and Andy Cohen played Celebrity Crotch Shots with Jamie-Lynn Sigler and him. Let’s just say the See Dad Run star won by a landslide. In other words we all know he was very familiar with a lot of celebrity crotches back in the day and now we know he knows them better than anyone else. In fact he did even better than I did. Largely because I had no idea that was his crotch in the picture. Who knew his little Chachi was a Charles in Charge??? Yeah I have no idea what that meant either.

See Dad Run and see yourself laugh!
October 14th, 2012 under Nickelodeon, Scott Baio. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’80s Scott Baio starred in Charles in Charge and tonight 8p on Nick at Nite he really needs his former character to help him on the fun family sitcom See Dad Run!
Baio plays David Hobbs, an actor who just ended his run as the perfect dad on a family sitcom, and now he has decided to be a stay at home with his three real kids while his wife (Alanna Ubach) goes back to work on a soap opera. By the end of his first day at home with his teenage daughter Emily (Ryan Newman), prepubescent son Joe (Jackson Brundage) and 5 year old Janie (Bailey Michelle Brown), he will learn being a real dad is not as easy as being one a television show. Even though it won’t be easy, he is in it for the long run. That is unless his family recasts him, which they won’t.
See Dad Run is the type of show that everyone in the family can enjoy together because they will experience the wrongs that every family has experienced. Like tonight when David loses Janie at a Mommy and Me class and he has to find her before his wife gets home. His assistant Kevin (Ramy Youssef) will come up with a very Hollywood way to hide the fact that his boss lost his youngest kid. You will have to see it to believe it and to laugh out loud over it!
See Dad Run is Nick at Nite’s first attempt at an original sitcom and I am sure that it will be so much of a success that they will be adding more original ones to their lineup!
And the best part of the show is having Scott Baio back on a weekly scripted television show again because it has been way too long since he starred in his last one.

A Charles in Charge/Zapped! reunion!!!
September 14th, 2012 under Scott Baio. [ Comments: none ]

Willie Aames stopped by the taping of Scott Baio’s new Nick At Nite show See Dad Run and the two of them look as close as they did when they played best friends in the movie Zapped! and on the classic sitcom Charles in Charge. Can you believe that campy teen movie came out 30 years ago because the 51 year old Baio and the 52 year old Aames look as good as they did when they started playing Charles and Buddy back in 1984.
Seeing the two of them together like that has totally made my week. So much so I am going to dust off my copy Zapped! and watch it again. But until I do, I will just keep singing the theme song to Charles in Charles over and over again like a giddy teenage girl watching the show just to see them.
BTW it took me a minute to realize that it was Eight is Enough’s Tommy sitting next to Happy Day’s Chachi because he looks really great now. I really hope that Baio can create a role for him on See Dad Run because I know I for one would love to see the two of them working together again. Tell me I am not alone.
