Paranormal Witness is back on Syfy tonight at 10p and I’ve had nightmares ever since I saw the season 3 premiere. The show that recreates the stories of people that have experience paranormal events, starts the season off with one that will scare the crap out of you.
A woman who lost her firefighter husband in a fire decides to move out of their home and into a new one with her two daughters. As soon as they move in, they start hearing strange noises. As time goes on more and more unexplained stuff happens. And as the mother starts to explore the house, she finds out that the first owners were into some time of satanic worship. All the remodeling she has done has upset them and they are getting their revenge on her. Eventually they will start to go after her daughters and it gets so bad that she sends them to her mom’s. Since she doesn’t have the money to move, she tries to find someone to clean her house of the spirits energy. Will she finally have peace after 6 years of hell or will she give them back their house? You will have to tune for an real life story that will scare you sh!tless.
Seriously this show is so well done, you will think it is fake but it is not.

Syfy inflicts a lot of cruel and unusual punishment tonight!
June 4th, 2013 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Total Blackout is back on Syfy at 9p and tonight they are pairing moms and their grown kids. The teams of two will try different competitions in complete darkness hoping to be the ultimate winner. First they will have to guess the weight of different objects and they will get very intimate with them. Next they will have to guess what is in an aquarium and some of those items will be moving. But as terrifying as those challenges are, they ain’t nothing as compared to the last challenge. The remaining teams will wear a fishbowl on their heads as things are dropped down into them. They will have to guess what is crawling around their faces and yes there will be roaches.
When I see what those people go through, I can’t believe that show is still getting people to be on it.
At least with Exit at 9:30p, those contestants had no idea what hell they just signed up for. The first challenge has four teams standing on a piece of wood that is hovering over a bottomless pit. They will be asked to answer a question and the longer they take to answer it, the further the piece of wood goes back. The first team to fall to their doom is out. For the next challenge each team will be locked in a room trying to match up 6 different things. If they do not get them all right, a rush of freezing cold air is blasted on them. Once they get all three rounds correct, they will be given the way to get out of the room. The last team to make it free is freezed out. Now there are two teams, who are standing on a platform on top of some sand. They will be asked to answer a trivia question and for each one they get wrong, the platform drops down into the sand. The winner of the match is the one whose head is still above the sand. Finally the last standing team is brought into a room where they will have to answer even more questions as the roof is coming down on them. If they can manage not to get squashed, they will be $10,000 richer.
I am sorry, but that is enough money for me to go through what they went through. They deserve a lot more. Now even though there is no way in hell you could get me to do the show, that doesn’t mean I won’t be watching these people suffer every week for a measly $10,000!

5 Senses of Fear will awaken all of your senses tonight!
May 31st, 2013 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p on Chiller 5 Senses of Fear debuts and you are not going to want to miss any of these short stories. Each short take is told via a different sense and each one will scare the sh!t out of you.
The first story is about Smell. A man who is down on his luck, can’t get a promotion at his crappy job nor get the girl of his dreams, is given the chance to have it all with a magical cologne. With one spritz things start going his way, but there is a horrendous side effect. Is getting everything you want worth the price? Who nose?
Then we move to Touch. A young boy and his parents are in a terrible car accident in a secluded area and he needs to go help because they are too injured to do it by themselves. Only problem is the kid is blind and he will have to navigate himself in an unfamiliar forest. Out on his own he comes across a very bad man, and he will have to rely on his touch to get him out of the situation. I have a feeling this is going to end up badly.
Next up is See. An eye doctor has the ability to see what his patients saw via some device he created. When he finds out his favorite patient is being abused by her boyfriend, he comes up with a plan to get his revenge on him. Something goes horribly wrong and you will want to see what it is. Or maybe you will want to cover your eyes…
Have a Taste for more? Now it is time for taste. A man is summoned to a strange place and he doesn’t know why. Finally he finds out and the woman offers him a job, a job he can’t refuse but he does. You will be eat up what happens to him!
Finally we are up to our last sense, Listen. A video was recorded many years ago of a man playing a song. So what is the big deal? If this song is heard in entirety the person listening to it will die. Fast forward to today, a group of people have decided to do a documentary about the video and to see if the urban legend is true. As they edit the original video together they learn the story is true. What happens next? I am not going to tell you, you just have to hear it for yourself.
Each tale is beautifully told for each sense and you don’t want to miss of any of the five! Just know that at some point in each one of the short stories you will you wish you didn’t have that sense because it will be terrified of what just happened.

Warehouse 13 will be back for a final 6 episode season
May 17th, 2013 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Warehouse 13 is making like the subject of most of their reality shows and becoming a ghost; and I am beyond pissed. Syfy announced today that Warehouse 13 will be back for a 5th and final season next summer. I don’t get why the show that has been a constant success for them is being given a final season. I mean do we need another staged paranormal show on the network? I think not. We need more good original programming and in the last year they have cancelled 1/2 of their watchable original shows and replaced them with the duds. Shows like Eureka, Warehouse 13, Haven and Being Human have made the network what it is today. Not shows like Paranormal Something or Haunted Something Else. Stop importing shows from Canada that lose their spark after the first season and keeps the ones you are making on the air that continue to deliver great television.
Giving Warehouse 13 a final season is the dumbest thing the network has done since it renamed itself Syfy. Years later people still don’t know if it is SyFy or Syfy.
You want us to Imagine Greater, well I imagine the greater shows staying on your air instead of the fake shows you call reality!
Long live Warehouse 13 and the wonderful cast and crew who continue giving us great TV until someone turns the lights off next summer.
So in the meantime give Syfy a big FU and watch Warehouse 13 every Monday at 10p, and make them regret their decision. Which they should.

Warehouse 13 goes Film Noir in what Eddie McClintock say is his funnest episode yet!
May 13th, 2013 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 10p on Syfy’s Warehouse 13 Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (JoAnne Kelly) go where they have never gone before. Not back in time or remote another on earth, but an artifact that transcends and traps them into a Noir novel. How will will they write their way out of there not so swell predicament? We will have tune in for the episode that Eddie McClintock described as “the funnest episode that we shot in the series.”
I recently spoke with the incredible talented and funny actor at the NBCU Summer Press Day and we talked about the making of this episode. He told me that they really cared about making the Noir scenes look authentic to the genre. He explained “It is shot in black and white and it is all done with the same lenses that they used back in the day. So it just doesn’t look like a colored show that is black and white. It is even lit as a Noir episode and such.”
And it wasn’t only the visual likeness that they were focusing on during this episode. There was something else that the actors had to do that was a lot of fun for them and will be fun for us to see. He said, “What was interesting is in those scenes Myka and Pete would have to speak in Film Noir speech. Then if someone would walk out of the room, we would go back to (normal) Pete and Myka. As soon as they came back in we would have to go back to Film Noir speak. It was a good acting exercise for us too.”
Then Eddie told me, see, that he thinks, “the fans are really going to dig it.” And I think for him to say that this is the funnest episode he has worked on in the show’s 49 episodes and counting, I think we are all going to dig it as much as he does.
And if you want to see Eddie McClintock in a completely different type of role, then you are going to want to keep your eye out on his upcoming movie A Fish Story that is currently being seen at film festivals. I don’t know about you, but the trailer for it blew me away. Such an interesting story and seems like all the actors are giving their all for this movie.
