We are less than 4 months away from Deadpool 2 and the brilliant marketing team is back at it. This time they have the villainous superhero recreating an infamous scene from an ’80s movie. That moment is when Jennifer Beals has water rain down on her in Flashdance, but in Deadpool’s version it is bullets instead of water. Why? As Ryan Reynolds says, “Take your passion. And make it happen.” With that he is singing, “I can have it all,” and he can. While, I am crying “Silent tears full of pride,” over this poster.
We are just over seven months away from the release of Deadpool 2 and the marketing department is back at work on the anticipated sequel. Last week, they teamed up with Good Housekeeping Magazine, and this week they are doing it with someone who is even more wholesome. That person is the late great Bob Ross. Even though the anti-Superhero is a far cry from the Happy Hippie Painter, I am crying from laughter after watching this. I hope PBS offers him a show as the painter. HBO stole Sesame Street, they need to steal Deadpool who is very HBO. Don’t you agree?
We are still 6 months away from the release of Deadpool 2 and they are already starting to promote the film. Just like with the first movie, they are finding creative ways to let people know about it. And the latest partnership might be the most creative of them all. They teamed up with Good Housekeeping for a special holiday issue that is all about the wise cracking man in the red suit. Not Santa but 💀💩L.
I do not know about you, but I cannot wait to see the 2018 calendar included in the magazine! If it is anything like the one they made in Deadpool.
Ryan Reynolds invited his co-star Salma Hayek over to his house, but did he have ulterior motives? The Oscar winner was seen cooking and holding his 10-month-old daughter Ines, so what is going on? She said, “When your friends invite you for dinner and you end up doing all the work.” Does that mean that Deadpool and Blake Lively want to make her their nanny? I am sure they do, who wouldn’t? But she is not for hire. At least not in that position.
This weekend Logan was the #1 movie and Ryan Reynolds wasn’t going to let his arch nemesis Hugh Jackman have all the glory. Therefore, he released a little teaser for Deadpool 2 and we say his Deadpool 1 and Deadpool 2. In other words his butt as he changed into his costume in a thing called a phone booth. Yes, they supposedly still exist.
Now we know why Superman always wore his costume underneath his costume. There is not enough room to change in a phone booth and it takes for ever to put on those tights! Granted woman already knew that!
