Roseanne keeps the original theme song!
November 25th, 2017 under Roseanne. [ Comments: none ]

To me, one of the biggest differences between a revival and a reboot is the theme song. Revivals keep them and reboots modernize them. Thankfully, Roseanne is a revival and today Roseanne Barr revealed that they are keeping that tune we have all heard hundreds of times as is. We do not how the open will look, but we do know she really enjoyed it. Which means so will we.

Now, if only ABC will finally tell us when the 9 anticipated episodes will air, we will all be as happy as she is here. What are they waiting for?

BTW I love the no social media sign in the background, hopefully she will not get in trouble for posting this on social media. Then again she is Roseanne Barr and when has she ever done what she is supposed to do?

Roseanne Barr reveals she will go nude on Roseanne
November 20th, 2017 under Roseanne. [ Comments: none ]

As if the fact that Roseanne is coming back to the airwaves with all new episodes after almost 21 years was not enough, Roseanne Barr gave us another reason to tune in. The actress posted that behind the scenes picture and wrote, “Preparing for my nude shower scene #roseanneshow.” Doesn’t that make you even more excited for the revival because we have been waiting a long time to see her take it off, take it all off.

Roseanne got an additional episode order
November 13th, 2017 under Roseanne. [ Comments: none ]

It seems like the ABC is really liking the episodes that the Roseanne revival is putting out because they ordered an additional episode before it even has a premiere date. According to TV Line that brings the total to 9…and hopefully counting.

I was kind of nervous that the revival would stink, but it seems like that is not the case. Which is a good thing because the first go around of the show is still as relevant and as enjoyable today as it was then.

My prediction is Roseanne will air at 8:30p on Tuesdays with Fresh Off the Boat moving to 9:30p. ABC would be stupid to move The Middle or put the show up against This Is Us. Their other comedy night is solid, so this seems to be the only option. I think. Anything can happen.

BTW this is not the only show to get an additional episode order. ABC ordered 3 more episodes of Kevin (Probably) Saves the World. When it comes to The Mayor, they only asked for 3 additional scripts. Not a good sign for the freshman comedy that needs something I cannot put a finger on.

Does Roseanne insist on sitting on a throne at work?
November 6th, 2017 under Roseanne. [ Comments: none ]

Roseanne Barr was seen wearing a crown and sitting on a gold throne while on the set of the revival for her hit sitcom, so is that part of her contract? Nope, it was a present from everyone that is part of Roseanne to make her feel like the Domestic Goddess that she is for her 65th birthday. Can you believe she is a senior citizen now? She does not look even close to her age!

Look it is Roseanne’s two Beckys together at last!!!
October 17th, 2017 under Roseanne. [ Comments: none ]

If you have been waiting decades to actually see Lecy Goranson and Sarah Chalke together in the same place, your wait is over because it has finally happened. Why? The two Beckys got together with the rest of the Roseanne cast for the revival’s first table read.

While Goranson will be playing Becky Conner (Healy?)*, Chalke is playing a mystery character. How hot would it be her name is also Becky on the show, and she was married to Becky! Then the two Beckys would really be the two Beckys!

No word yet when the 8 episodes will air on ABC, but it will be some time early next year. My prediction is it will be bigger than American Idol because it was the #1 show when it originally aired.

On that note, tomorrow is the show’s 29th birthday and she still looks as fantastic as she did when she was first born. The first round of Roseanne seriously aged well in syndication. It truly is a timeless show, which probably is why it airs so many times on so many networks. The updated version better not let us down. Which I doubt it will.

*No word yet how the sitcom will deal with Glenn Quinn’s death, who played Becky’s husband and David’s brother.
