PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN movie-makers are terrified KEITH RICHARDS may suffer another fall when he shoots his scenes for the third installment of the hit franchise. The legendary ROLLING STONES hellraiser fell out of a tree in Fiji in April (06), and subsequently underwent skull surgery. Following the BROWN SUGAR hitmaker’s recovery, he is signed up to appear as the father of JOHNNY DEPP’s CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW. Richards will be required to climb the stairs of a pirate ship and nervous director GORE VERBINSKI says, "For a guy who falls out of coconut trees, those steps could be a problem."

"He feels like an idiot. But he sees the funny side now – he is the first man to have brain surgery for a hangover."

Macca and Jagger seeing red
July 11th, 2006 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills, Rolling Stones. [ Comments: none ]

As two of the most famous rock stars on earth, Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Mick Jagger have enjoyed a friendly rivalry that has endured since the 1960s.
From the music they played, to the clothes they wore, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones always made every effort to stand apart from each other.
But in an attempt to defy the ravages of times the Stones frontman has obviously decided that, for once, imitation is by far the best option.
First Sir Paul inexplicably started dying his hair red. Now Sir Mick has decided the curious new shade of auburn looks great on him too.
Intriguingly, for both men their new hair colour has coincided with them having much younger partners who have badgered them into overhauling their ageing image.
With Sir Paul, the red hair coincided with him starting to wear cool trainers, and fashionable jumpers designed for much younger men. Most importantly, is also coincided with him first starting to date Heather Mills.
With Sir Mick, the very same looks to be happening.
In identical fashion, he is letting his younger girlfriend, L’Wren Scott – who is a model and stylist – dictate his appearance.
First came the trainers, then the cool tops – and now, rather amusingly, she looks to have been playing around with his hair colour
Jagger, who is 63, showed off his new locks as the band launched the European leg of their A Bigger Bang tour in Milan last night.

Keith Richards explains the tree inceident
July 10th, 2006 under Rolling Stones. [ Comments: none ]

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards said he could not wait to get back on stage after recovering from a head injury that had forced the band to delay the European leg of their world tour."Everything’s cool," the 62-year-old told a news conference on the eve of the first concert of the European leg "I’ve recovered. I can’t wait to get back on the stage," said Richards.Fellow guitarist Ronnie Wood was just as keen, saying he was ready to play after checking out of a London rehabilitation centre for alcohol abuse. "I feel great," said Wood. Mystery still surrounds the circumstances of Richards’ accident and he remained vague about it at the news conference, saying only that he fell from a small tree and not a coconut tree as had been reported.&"If you saw the tree you would understand the joke," he said. "It was a very little tree."

Is it just me or does it sound worse when he says he fell out of a little tree?
