Project Runway stuck at Bravo

When Lifetime won the next season of Project, NBC went to court trying to stop the move saying they had the first rights to refuse the show. Well NBC won an injunction for the time being and Project Runway is not going to Lifetime next season as expected according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"NBC Universal is pleased that the court granted our motion for a preliminary injunction against the Weinstein Co.," NBC Uni said in a statement. "The overwhelming evidence demonstrated that the Weinstein Co. violated NBC Universal's right of first refusal to future cycles of 'Project Runway.' After hearing all of the evidence, the court issued an order prohibiting the Weinstein Co. from taking the show or any spinoff to Lifetime."

Lifetime said in a statement: "We are disappointed with the court's decision to grant the preliminary injunction against the Weinstein Co. It's unfortunate that the people hurt most by this ongoing dispute are the loyal fans of 'Project Runway.' In the meantime, Lifetime will pursue all measures to uphold its valid and binding agreement reached with the Weinstein Co. for Season 6 of 'Project Runway.' "

I am bummed that it is not going to Lifetime next season because I was excited to see what they were going to do with the show. Especially after this season.

Heidi Klum suffers for the Emmys
September 22nd, 2008 under Dancing with the Stars, Project Runway. [ Comments: 1 ]

Poor Heidi Klum suffered a major black and blue mark (that went nicely with her dress) for the Emmys when Tom Bergeron dropped her as part of one of the funniest skits on the Emmys. I just love that mischievous on Bergeron's faces. I think Seal is going to have to hire Eli Stone (a show he is going to guest on) to wipe it off!
BTW it was the Survivor who brought home the Emmy gold.

Jennifer Lopez pulls out of Project Runway finale!!!
September 12th, 2008 under J-Lo, Project Runway. [ Comments: 2 ]

The season finale of Project Runway just got a whole lot better because Jennifer Lopez pulled out of the show at the very last minute according to TV Guide. J-Lo was suppose to take part in the finale today as the final 6 showed their work at Fashion Week, but instead pulled out at the last minute claiming she hurt her foot. I don't know but she looks perfectly healthy two days ago when she attended another fashion show with Stylista's Joe Zee. Wonder why she really turned down Project Runway at the very last minute? Could she be doing Stylista on The CW instead?
Oh and to make the news even better, Tim Gunn is replacing the diva! I have been waiting for him to Judge the show since the very start and it will be nice to finally see him do it on the final episode of PR on Bravo before they head to Lifetime in January!!!

Project Runway 6 delayed until January
September 7th, 2008 under Project Runway. [ Comments: 2 ]

Lifetime is postponing the new Project Runway until January according to Hollywood Insider.
It had been expected the show would debut on its new network sometime this autumn. "With this move, the series will resume its traditional cycle of two seasons per year," according to a Lifetime spokeperson. "We look forward to ringing in the New Year by giving Project Runway loyal fans a superlative season six with Heidi, Tim, Nina, and Michael. The new date and time will be announced soon.”
I am happy that Lifetime has decided to postpone the show until next year because otherwise it would have been too much Project Runway in a short period of time. Let's hope Lifetime changes it up because this season hasn't been as good.

Who will win Shear Genius tonight?
August 27th, 2008 under Bravo, Project Runway. [ Comments: none ]

After some bad haircuts and many more good ones, we finally get to find out who will Shear Genius tonight on Bravo at 10p. Will it be Nicole, Charlie or Dee? I just hope it is not Charlie because he has annoyed me most of the season. Could you imagine his ego if he won? Huge and even more annoying.
And don’t forget to watch Project Runway first at 9p to see what crazy material they will be working on tonight.
