SIR Paul McCartney has phoned Heather Mills’s personal trainer – to ask him if they are having an affair. Ben Amigoni was stunned to get a call from Sir Paul and denied anything was going on with Heather, 38. He even invited Ben, 22, who has been snapped on long bike rides with his estranged wife, to his home for a chat. Advertisement A source said: "Ben got a phone call out of the blue. He couldn’t believe that Sir Paul was bothering to ring him, let alone what he was asking him. "Sir Paul said if Ben wasn’t comfortable talking on the phone, he could come to his Peasmarsh estate for a chat. "Ben denied there was anything going on and felt a bit embarrassed about the whole thing. He didn’t make any arrangements to meet as he felt he didn’t need to." Ben has helped Heather battle back to fitness after an operation on her leg which is fitted with an artificial limb. He ditched his long-term love before accompanying Heather, who split with Sir Paul in May, to America on Adopt-A-Minefield charity business earlier this month. But friends say Sir Paul, 64, who has a two-year-old daughter Bea with Heather, was reassured by their little chat. A source said: "Paul is pretty relaxed about the whole thing and doesn’t believe anything is going on. "He knows that Heather needs to work closely with her personal trainer to keep the muscles in her leg strong. "But if he suspected something more serious was going, it would be a totally different story." A spokesman for Sir Paul yesterday declined to comment. But Heather, who may have been wearing her heart on her sleeve when she was spotted at Heathrow recently wearing a top which said Love Kills Slowly, sent out a new message yesterday. She wore a jacket with Dedicated to the One I Love embroidered on the back on a cycle ride near her home in Hove, East Sussex.
TWO intruders broke into Sir Paul McCartney’s country estate and filmed themselves wandering up to his front door. The trespassers calmly strolled around the grounds with a camera, videoing Macca’s house and cars. And then they posted their film on an internet site, complete with commentary. Macca, 64, is said to be furious that the two US tourists sneaked into his 933-acre estate at Peasmarsh, East Sussex, with such ease. The ex-Beatle, going through a bitter divorce from ex-model Heather Mills, has given staff at Woodlands Farm a dressing-down and ordered them to tighten-up security.
A source close to the singer said: “Macca is livid. He is supposed to have tight security to protect him and his family but this pair walked straight in. It’s lucky they were harmless.”He just didn’t need something like this happening. The divorce is givin him enough stress.”The tourists managed to get on to Macca’s land after walking down a public footpath that runs nearby. It is not known whether the Sir Paul was in the house at the time.In the shaky footage posted on the popular YouTube website, theAmericans can be heard laughing nervously as the camera moves towards Macca’s three-bedroom farmhouse Beanacres.A woman’s voice says: “This is it. This is his house. It’s a beautiful house. It’s beautiful. Oh God, we are going to be in so much trouble.”In a second clip muffled singing and music can be faintly heard. The Americans claim it is Macca himself. The intrusion will evoke troubling memories for Sir Paul. In 1999, fellow ex-Beatle George Harrison was stabbed when schizophrenic Michael Abram broke into his Oxfordshire mansion. And John Lennnon was shot dead by crazed fan Mark Chapman in New York in 1980. A security expert yesterday said the trespassers had demonstrated just how easy is was to get close to Sir Paul. Ex-detective Hamish Brown said: “Now he’ll have to decide if he wants to make the estate like Ford Knox or not.”Macca, who is worth £750million, has previously complained that the public footpath runs too close to his house. He built a luxurious £1million log cabin so he could have living quarters further away from the path.A spokesman for Sir Paul last night declined to comment on the break-in. 3am
Kind of lame, no?
Not many personal trainers get to accompany their boss in first-class luxury when they cross the Atlantic. But then not many fit young men work for Heather Mills. Ben Amigoni, 24, has hardly left Heather’s side since she launched her bitter battle for a slice of Sir Paul McCartney’s £825 million fortune. He joined her in the £4,000 seat to Los Angeles, apparently confirming that Sir Paul is still paying his 38-year-old wife a more than generous allowance. And when they landed, he sat in the front as she drove them away from the airport in her car. Friends claim the pair have struck up a close relationship since he joined her staff two months ago. They became friends during one-on-one sessions at the Hilden Health Club in Rye, near Sir Paul’s East Sussex home. It is not the first time Mr Amigoni has enjoyed the trappings of first-class travel – but on previous visits to LA with his new boss insiders say he was introduced as one of her bodyguards. Sources claim last time they flew together he was deliberately not checked in with Ms Mills as part of her entourage. At Heathrow Ms Mills – who stands to make £200million in the costly divorce settlement with the ex-Beatle – was seemingly travelling alone, but by the time she arrived in LA she was accompanied by Mr Amigoni.
A previously unreleased duet between George Michael and Sir Paul McCartney will finally see the light of the day on a forthcoming greatest hits album. Michael’s Twenty Five collection is scheduled for release in November and will feature the McCartney track "Hear The Pain." The "Careless Whisper" singer’s greatest hits collection, which comprises hits from his Wham! and solo career, will also feature a song recorded exclusively for the album called "Understand."
The shameful past of Heather Mills came back to haunt her again on the weekend – when she was refused entry to a supermarket where she shoplifted as a teenager. According to The Sun newspaper, Sir Paul McCartney’s estranged wife was told by a member of staff at the Sainsbury’s store in her hometown: "Excuse me, Heather, you know you’re not allowed in there, you know the situation." Despite her protests the ex-model was not allowed into the shopping centre in Washington, Tyne and Wear, where she had stopped off with a bodyguard. Heather, 38, whose alleged past as an escort girl was exposed earlier this year, told the staff member: "For Christ’s sake, that was ten years ago. Do you really think I’m going to shoplift now? I’ve moved on from there." In her autobiography Out On A Limb, Heather admitted how she stole supermarket food as a young child. She wrote: "By ten I was an old hand. Pinching food was really quite easy I discovered." But Sainsbury’s bosses have said Heather was not banned from any of their stores and was welcome at any time. A spokesperson said: "We can confirm Heather Mills McCartney would be most welcome to shop in any of our stores."
