On Sunday at 8p est Oprah Winfrey is taking to Twitter to talk to her fans and answer their questions in a live virtual Tweetup to discuss this week’s Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, that is now on a new night. This episode is where she, her crew and 302 lucky audience members went to a land Down Under. All you have to do to take part in this special event is send her a Tweet to @Oprah with the hashtag #OprahLiveTweet to talk to the one and only her.
That is really awesome of her to do, but I am afraid she will sink Twitter. How many times on a normal day have you gone on to Twitter and seen that whale with a message saying it is over capacity. Imagine what it is going to be like on a day when the great Oprah Winfrey says she will correspond with her fans on Twitter? We will be lucky if Twitter can survive the Oprah Wave.
Hugh Jackman learned what can stop Wolverine today…the wall at the Syndey Opera house in Australia. The Aussie was making a grand entrance on Oprah Winfrey’s show that is taping in his homeland, but things didn’t go that well because he literally hit the wall. Luckily for Oprah, he is OK and just required a band-aid under his eye because if it were anything else I’m sure there would be a lot of people and kangaroos that would go after her if she injured their prized treasure. But she did scar that gorgeous face and I have a problem with that!
Ricki Lake, Montell Williams, Geraldo Rivera, Sally Jessy Rapheal and Phil Donahue were all reunited on the Queen of Daytime’s show that will air on November 10th. Back in the ’80s and ’90s the 5 talk show hosts were the leaders of trash TV and now they are all doing Oprah Winfrey. Who would have ever this day would have ever comes? It is almost like TV Hell has frozen jessyover.
BTW does seeing them all together like that make you miss the day when they were all gracing our airwaves?
The bad news is Rosie O’Donnell is returning to TV, the good news is that she will be on Oprah Winfrey’s new network OWN and who is going to be watching that channel?
Here is what the two daytime ladies had to say about her show doing on the upcoming network.
“Rosie is an undeniable talent who has captivated TV audiences for nearly 20 years,” said Oprah Winfrey. “She’s a true original, who brings her authentic voice, dynamic energy and pure passion to everything she does.”
“It’s an honor and a privilege to work with Oprah Winfrey on her network,” said Rosie O’Donnell. “I’m excited to be back on daytime television.”
No air date and time slot was mentioned, but since OWN has gone through so many changes before it has even launched maybe this show will not see the light of day when OWN debuts in 2011.

Yesterday on The Oprah Winfrey Show she did something that hasn’t been done in 38 years…she shaved off Dr Phil’s mustache. Her first spinoff talk show host hasn’t been without the hair above his lip since 1972 and only the woman who made him a multimillionaire could make him get rid of it. So Oprah used her power and gave him a makeover. You know what, he looks a lot better without the mustache. Now let’s see how long he will keep it off, I bet he is already growing it back.
BTW Oprah, next time give him a toupee. Let’s see how he will look with hair!
