The CW has ordered additional scripts from two of their of new shows. According to The Live Feed they want to read 9 more scripts from The Vampire Diaries and 6 more from Melrose Place which means things are looking good for both shows getting picked up for more episodes. No word yet what plans they have for their other new show The Beautiful Life: TBL which even though it didn’t do well in the ratings last week, I am really enjoying.
Oh and The CW also picked up One Tree Hill for the full season which I would be more excited if I didn’t have to give it up because I am watching 4 other things on Mondays at 8p. Dang you networks for switching up your schedules and moving your 9pmers to 8pm.
Before James Lafferty was playing Nathan Scott who went to high school in One Tree Hill, he was playing Michael Scott who went to Boston Public. How cute was the 16 year old in that 2001 episode?
One Tree Hill is back tonight on The CW for its 7th season at a new time slot of 8p and with 2 new cast members Robert Buckley and Shantel VanSanten. Robert Buckley is playing Nathan’s agent Clayton Dawson and Shantel VanSanten is playing Hayley’s older sister, Quinn. Both of them were at the premiere of her hit movie The Final Destiantion and they told me what we can expect from them joining on the show!
If you are going to interview Robert Buckley, you have to ask him if he is going to take he going to take his shirt off in the show? And he told me yes, he does!!! He also let me he know isn’t the only one going shirtless…Clay’s client Nathan aka James Lafferty (who he says is an Adonis) will also have a problem keeping his shirt on. Can’t complain about that, can you? He also told me that the character he is playing is a “fan of the ladies”, but I really want to see him hook up with Quinn. Those two make such a cute couple that they totally need some camera time together, don’t you think!

Seconds before Shantel VanSanten and Nick Zano went into watch themselves in the #1 movie The Final Destination at the Warner Bros premiere, I was one of their final interviews as they were dashing into the movie theater. Both Shantel and Nick’s characters are friends with Nick O’Bannon who gets the vision at a car race that they are all going to die, but because it was premonition they all get out safely. Well for a little while at least because death doesn’t like when anyone messes with his plans. Both actors have great death scenes in the movie, but one is a vision and the other one is real. You will have to see this awesome 3D horror movie to see which one makes it to the end and believe me you are going to watch this movie to find out because I think FD4 is the best in the Final Destination Franchise.
While both actors can be seen on the big screen now, soon you will be able to watch both on the little screen. Nick Zano will be playing Courteney Cox’s cub on ABC’s Cougar Town starting on September 23rd at 9:30p. And Shantel will be joining The CW’s One Tree Hill as Haley’s sister, Quinn on September 14th at 8p! I can’t wait to see both in their new roles!
‘Tis the time when television shows release their previous season on DVD before the new one starts up! And the really really really good ones like One Tree Hill include blooper reels! Because Paul Johansson plays Dan Scott as such a son of a bitch, I never realized how funny he was. He was the best one on that gag reel! I say we need more Dan Scott this season and rumor has it is going to be a father again and the mother went to school with his sons… I can’t wait to see how it all plays when the show is back on The CW on September 14th!
