Conan O’Brien wrapped up his San Diego Comic Con shows yesterday with the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse. The TBS late night host found out that they play violent games on the set and he wanted to know more about it. They then went into detail about these games and how they had to the calm them down in the sequel because they got too violent in the first one. Even though they were told to take it easy, they found ways around it. In fact, they created a new game where they get drunk and slap each other. As they were describing it, Olivia Munn, who was sitting next to Conan, raised her hand to slap him. When he saw her hand raised, he told her she could do it and she did. Then he told her, “That was the best and the worst thing that ever happened to me.” I guess you can say that Comic Con was a real slap in the face to Conan. Good thing he will be back next year to top that. Although how can you?
Olivia Munn was a guest on The Late Show show yesterday, and she told David Letterman about falling off of that swing two weeks ago and dislocating shoulder.
When she was done telling her story, the CBS late night host asked her how to pronounce her last name. After a little a discussion, she told him he can say it as Olivia Munn (like Monday) hyphen Letterman. So is that her way of her asking him to marry her?
Doesn’t The Newsroom star know he prefers interns and she isn’t one? Too soon?
Olivia Munn was a guest on The Tonight Show yesterday and she told Jay Leno about her ex-boyfriend that cheated on her when she first moved to LA. Now before you are like, awwww poor Olivia, she explained that she really only liked him as friend. Then she told the NBC host that she thinks she liked that he was having an affair. Wait, what? The Newsroom star added, “I remember this very clearly. At the time I thought to myself, ‘I don’t mind him cheating on me because I like him just as my friend and I don’t want to be his girlfriend. So if she’s having sex with him that means I don’t have to.'” That is great way to think about it, she has a good point.
Oh and I left out that she said he didn’t really have to cheat on her because she was good at faking it with him. Is it wrong that I wondered if she faked it with Brett Ratner too? I will just assume that she did since she says she’s so good at it. Although he has said he didn’t remember her when she auditioned for him, so now I am thinking that maybe she is not as good of actress in that department as she says she is?
Olivia Munn is a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today and when she came out she gave the daytime talk show host an strange type of hug. The Newsroom star bent over and put her ear on Ellen’s chest. Well DeGeneres responded by putting her ear on Munn’s stomach. When that exchange was done, a dumbfounded host had to ask her about it. Munn said “Well I am Asian, so it feels like, you know, like a nice, like, you know, a very sexual thing to do.” OK?
And believe it or not that is the most awkward part of the interview. Munn couldn’t stop declaring how much she loves Ellen and how she wants to be best friends with her. So Ellen said they could hang out and go to dinner that night if her wife Portia de Rossi says it alright. And Munn was so not going to let them get out of it.
That interaction was just all types of weird, but in a way that was cute. No word if they went to dinner, I guess we will have to tune in tomorrow to find out.
