The creator of Passions and former-Head Writer of Days of our Lives passed away this weekend at the age of 60. Soap Opera Digest reports that Reilly had been recovering from cardiac surgery when he died suddenly in the hospital.
Reilly was the head writer of Passions until it was recently cancelled for a second and final time on DirectTV, which makes me thinks maybe he died of a broken heart.
Paul Newman died today at the age of 83 from cancer.
Unlike what he said in Road to Perdition, he now is in heaven but he lives on his movie and with his charity that has done amazing things for people who needed it.
Soul Men is not coming out until November 14th, but in the last two days two of its stars have died. Bernie Mac passed away yesterday at the age of 50 and today Isaac Hayes joined him at the age of 65, which makes me wonder if Soul Men is cursed? If I were one of the surviving cast members of Soul Men I would be worried because they say bad things come in three. Let's hope that is an old saying and no one else is lost from this film before it comes out.
Isaac Hayes passed away today at the age of 65. Isaac Hayes won an Oscar for his song Shaft and was later known for being the voice of Chef on South Park.
Please don’t be insulted by the video I chose to remember him, I just thought that was one of the funniest things I ever saw on TV.

Comedian, actor and one of the Original Kings of Comedy Bernie Mac passed away today the age of 50, way too f*cking young.
“Actor/ comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital. No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected.”
Bernie Mac turned his real-life situation of taking his sister’s kids into a hit sitcom that earned him Emmy and Golden Globe nominations and made us laugh every week with him. He made us laugh over and over in so many great movies and with 4 more movies of his yet to come out we will continue to laugh even though he was taken away from us way too young. UPDATE: Here is Fox’s Statement:
Bernie Mac was a gifted talent whose comedy came from an authentic and highly personal place. He was a tremendous live performer and a wonderful actor. FOX was proud to be the home of “The Bernie Mac Show,” and all of us at FOX and 20th Century Fox Television extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Rhonda and daughter JeNiece.
