Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon welcomed their twins Moroccan and Monroe to the world almost 8 weeks ago and we have yet to see them. Well looking at the first public picture of their baby girl, I think we know why…she is not ready to for her time in the spotlight. And here is what her mom Tweeted as the reason behind the photograph, “#dembabiesruntings -This is baby Monroe saying ‘no pictures dahhhhling’ at 7+1/2 weeks..oh dear :)” Like mother, like daughter!
I guess that is why the America’s Got Talent host said his little girl is a Diva just like her mom. Seriously if she is like this now, then I fear for him because what will she be like when she hit the terrible twos? Pray for him because he will need it.
BTW having said all of that how precious is that picture?
Yesterday on America’s Got Talent one of the guys auditioning on the show did a dance with stripper poles and after he was done and the judges critiqued him, Nick Cannon gave it his best stripper try. You know what Mr Mariah Carey has some sexy moves, so much so I bet his wife wants add one in the bedroom for him.
Once the NBC show is done for the season and he is looking for a nighttime job to keep himself busy and away from his divas (Mimi and Monroe) he should honestly consider working as a stripper. His last name sets him up perfectly for the job. And I know I would give him a hand full of singles to see him work a pole like that in person.
Nick Cannon was on Lopez Tonight yesterday and he talked to George Lopez about his brand new twins. He shared with the TBS late night host about the birthing experience and how his son and daughter got their names.
As prepared as Nick was for their birth and even with a few test runs, he still freaked out when the actual time came. He was so nervous that he got lost in the hospital and found himself in the psych ward instead of the maternity one. What a way for the boy and girl to start off their first day in the world.
Now when it comes to their names even with the written explanations Moroccan Scott and Monroe sounded kind of unusual. Well now that he explained their meanings and importance they sound so much better. As we know their daughter was named after Marilyn Monroe and they chose her last name because it is a “strong name for a woman.” I personally love the name. Now when it comes to their son, who was named after a room in their place, it was also the same room that they got engaged in. How sweet is that? And his parents don’t call him by his full name, instead they call him Rock. That will definitely help him as he grows up from getting teased by his classmates.
Nick also revealed that twins are still in the hospital and they will be home any day now. Let’s hope they bring them home ASAP because if I were a baby I would want to experience their nursery as soon as I could.
Nick Cannon is days away from becoming a father for the first time to twins and he is sad that he is going to be on paternity leave for 2 weeks from his radio show. So what did he do so that is listeners from 92.3 can still talk to him during that leave, he gave out his phone number. That’s right if you want to talk to him, you can call (212) 524-2998. To prove the number was real he called it during his show and his wife, who just returned from the hospital after another labor scare, picked up the phone and confirmed it is their number. In fact they called it back for a second time and you got to hear their answering machine message. Something I am sure Nick is going to hear a lot when he calls and begs Mariah Carey for forgiveness. You know she has to be p!ssed that they now have to change their number because their phone won’t stop ringing anytime soon.
So call it while you can? And ask Mariah what she is going to do her first baby for giving out their home number.
UPDATE: Since there seems to be a problem with the embedded code from his broadcast, someone posted video of them calling his home number and you can see and hear that it really is their number.
Nick Cannon put the rumors to rest about whether or not his wife Mariah Carey is having twins. The America’s Got Talent host conformed on his radio show that his Sweet Fantasy is going to make him a daddy twice over in a few months. He said, “They (The Obamas), ironically enough, questioned my wife about, you know, ‘So, what are you having, are you having twins?’ And at this point she hadn’t told anybody anything because doctors advised us to keep it to ourselves until we get further along. And because of the excitement, because of the emotion, she was overwhelmed [and] she shared with the President and First Lady that we are having twins.” I guess when it is a Presidential order, you have to respond.
BTW I thought she was having twins, but they were her breasts. Those things have gotten huge.
