The Portokalos family will be back on September 8th for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3. This time, they are going to a reunion to honor their patriarch (the late Michael Constantine) who passed away.
It was his last wish for his whole family to go to Greece! And that is what they are doing.
Is Greece big enough for the Portokaloses? We will find out in the final chapter of Nia Vardalos’s 20-year-old story that made us use Windex for our ailments.
If you have been waiting patiently for the much delayed My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 to happen, your wait is coming closer to an end. That is because Nia Vardalos revealed today that they started filming it in Greece. Opa! And she is directing it. Opa!
Vardalos did not say anything else, but I am going to assume that Windex is somehow involved. They have that Greece, right?
Nia Vardalos has been ready to film My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 for a while in Greece, but she has been dealing with pandemic problems. Along with all of that, her movie dad Michael Constantine passed away on August 31st at the age of 94.
Yesterday, she reunited with her movie family cousin Nikki (Gia Carides), brother Nick (Louis Mandylor), and mom (Lainie Kazan) to remember Constantine. Because not only are they a family in front of the camera, but they are one when the cameras aren’t rolling.
When the cameras start rolling again, they will be missing a family member. And not even Windex can fix that. Vardalos talked about that and said Constantine “had told me he wouldn’t be able to join us for the third film and his wish was that we go on. I wrote the screenplay to reflect Michael’s decision and will always treasure his last messages to me, hoping we were filming soon.”
Hopefully, we will get COVID-19 under control soon so she can make the film. We need more warm family family-loving films in theaters, especially now.
Nia Vardalos told some people that she is ready to film My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3. Since they are Greek, they told some people, and they told some people and so on. Therefore, her secret got out.
She took to social media to clear up the rumors. For the last year, she and the cast have been ready to film the third movie. However, between COVID-19 and not being able to get insurance for her independent film, they are stuck in pause.
Now, the actress, writer, and producer is asking for your help to find a company that will insure her film so that she can make it.
As soon as that happens, the Greek is off to Greece to film. Doesn’t that make you want to see it even more?
So here is a true story about me. One day, when I was heading to work, I got stung by a bee. When I got to my job, I could not find anything to put on it. That was until I saw they had some Windex. Windex can cure anything, and it helped with the pain. Now, I keep a bottle handy.
