Back in December, Sharon Osbourne was rushed to the hospital while filming a paranormal show with her son, Jack Osbourne. Today, Travel Channel released the trailer for Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror, and we see the scary moment when she was found unresponsive.
During the season premiere, the mother and son travel to the Glen Tavern Inn. The century-old hotel in Santa Paula, California, has quite the past that goes back to the prohibition. Things started off quietly, but then things took a dramatic turn. Sharon lands in the crosshairs of one of the Inn’s most volatile entities, an angry and oppressive male spirit known for overtaking female guests – ending in a still unexplained medical mystery.
She didn’t believe in ghosts before that night, but I am sure she does now.
Night of Terror debuts on October 1st. To read descriptions of season 2’s episodes, then click here!
This Halloween, Travel Channel has some frightful specials for us to watch for the week leading up to Halloween. On October 29th, Ghost Adventures is going to go Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park for Horror at Joe Exotic Zoo to find out if the rumors of it being haunted are true. I wonder if Carol Baskin’s husband, Don Lewis, will stop by to say hi. If he does, then maybe he can tell us what happened to him?
As I said, there will be specials coming to the network. On October 30th, Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack will try their hands at paranormal investigation in Night of Terror. I feel for the ghosts on this one.
Spooktober ends on Halloween night with Ghost Nation and Kindred Spirits coming together for Destination Fear. They will spend the night inside the abandoned Old Crow Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.

It takes a lot to get me excited these days, but the Travel Channel did just that today when they announced that they are bringing back Ripley’s Believe It or Not with the legendary Bruce Campbell as a host. The 10-episodes will debut this summer and film at their main museum in Orlando, Florida.
This is not the first time that Ripley’s has been on TV. The show ran for two seasons in 1949 and was hosted by Robert Ripley until his death. After his died, his friends filled in for him. Back in the ’80s, ABC gave it a try with hosts like Jack Palance and Marie Osmond. Then at the turn of the millennium, it was time for Dean Cain to take over the duties on TBS.
Throughout the decades, we watched people do things we would never believe could be done. Then when they did, it was so thrilling to witness. I cannot wait to see what they attempt this go around. You know they have to up the danger with Campbell as a host. Believe It or Not?
Plus, I love all the factoids they reveal between stunts.
Adam Richman is back with a new show on Travel Channel tonight at 10p and this time he is traveling the world to discover Secret Eats that even locals don’t know about.
In the premiere episode, he goes to a Private Eye Agency in London that has a hidden restaurant behind a bookcase that serves mac & cheese with bacon and truffle oil. He will also go to an antique store to try their smoked salmon. But it isn’t only about hidden eateries, it is also about secret menu items like a Nutella Sundae that is to scrumptious it should be illegal.
Then at 10:30p, he goes to Argentina and eats traditional Argentinian dishes out of people’s homes that are also restaurants.
In the coming weeks, he travels to Rome, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Mexico City and Moscow. I just hope for the second season, he visits an exotic locale called Los Angeles because I want to try some of these hush hush places and cuisines.
My mouth was watering with each destination as he described the food in such a way that you can almost taste it with him. Best part no calories or fat when you eat what he is talking about.

When Jon Cryer was a teenager, he went to the Bronx High School of Science. Therefore, you can assume that he loves Space, and you would be right. The 51 year old is going to live his boyhood dream tonight at 11p on Travel Channel’s Celebrity Travel Club.
He will travel the Country and the World to visit different Space Centers and talk to several Astronauts. His first stop is NASA headquarters in DC where he will talk to the Head Astronaut.
From there his will travel to Houston where he will stay in the Houston We Have a Problem Room at a hotel. It is so out of this world awesome, I want to book a stay there. Once he gets a good night’s sleep, it is time for him to visit the Johnson Space Center. He will get a tour of the facility including an actual size model of the International Space Station, put on a real Spacesuit, sit in a capsule that transports Astronauts to the ISS and get a work out like they do up there. The coolest part is watching the grueling task of him putting on the Spacesuit which includes him putting on his own diaper.
Now it is time for his next stop, he travels to Star City, Russia to visit the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. There he will go through Cosmonaut training. Before you can enter the centrifuge, you need to get a physical exam. Once he enters the centrifuge, you will see why. I got dizzy just watching him. The way he describes it, makes it seem worse than what we saw. After going around and around, you wouldn’t think he would want to eat; but when he gets to experince how they eat on the ISS, he makes room. You might not want to eat after they describe how much they recycle what you eat and drink in Space. After you eat, we all want to feel lighter. Now, it is time for him to get to experience weightlessness in a Spacesuit.
After that, there is nothing left but for him to soak up all he has been through. It is an Adventure that all of us wish we can experience. But since we can’t, it is really cool to see it experiences through his eyes. Not only is interesting to watch, it is educational. A lot goes into the training of being an Astronaut and it is so cool to see just a little sample of it on this exciting show.
In the coming weeks, Terry Crews travels to Detroit for the rebirth of Motor City and Eric Stonestreet looks into World War II espionage. I can’t wait to go on that Adventure with them starting tonight at 11p with Cryer’s.
