Could you imagine Modern Family with Craig T Nelson instead of Ed O’Neill? Well that could’ve been the case if the Poltergeist actor was offered the money amount he thinks he is worth.
He told Access Hollywood:
Did you turn it down because you had ‘Parenthood’?†Billy asked Craig of the “Modern Family†role.
“No,†the star replied.
“Why did you turn it down?†Billy followed.
“Money,†Craig revealed.
“More money on ‘Parenthood’?†Kit inquired.
“Uh huh,†the actor said with a smile.
“I’m old enough to say it, I guess. That was it,†Craig said of the money offered. “I really wanted to do ‘Modern Family’ and I really liked the script and I liked the people. I just said, ‘You know what? I’ve been doing this too long.’ We’re in the middle of a cutback here, ladies and gentlemen, in Hollywood and salaries have gone way, way down.
“I just felt disrespected to tell you the truth,†he added.
He then went on to say he is happy he is working on Parenthood instead. So let me get this right, he is happy turned down the Emmy winning show to be on a show that no one watches? Yeah that makes sense.
Can I tell you I am so glad that he is under the grand illusion that he is worth more than Ed O’Neill because if he were the star of MF I would never have watched the show. I just don’t find him likable unlike the Married…with Children star who I absolutely love.
Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson Tweeted pictures of their castmastes Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell and Ed O’Neill and called them all Losers because they were robbed of any Golden Globe wins yesterday to Glee. Even though it was a sad loss to anyone who watches the show and the cast, they braved their loss with a big smile. And that makes me smile! Here is to hoping it is Modern Family’s chance next year because Glee has lost its sparkle.
Sofia Vergara is nominated for a Golden Globe this Sunday, but she just Tweeted she’s not going? So what got this Columbian actress fiery red? Well the Modern Family beauty said, “Nothing fits meeee!!!! I’m not going to the Golden Globes!!!!!!!!” For some reason I don’t there is a single straight boy having a problem with her dress being too tight on top for her Globes?
For some reason I think some designer will come up with a gown for her, because who wouldn’t want to brag the next day that she was wearing them!!!
Good luck Sofia, I am sure you will be absolutely dazzling on Sunday…even if you come in just a plastic bag!!!
The north east has been pummeled by snow, Florida is having record low temperatures, it is cold here in Los Angeles, so how are we going to warm up??? Modern Family is giving us a sneak peak of their January 5th episode where James Marsden appears topless in a hot tub. That definitely made my blood flow. But it started to cool down a bit when we saw Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s pale chest. On a positive note at least we didn’t see Cameron Mitchell’s I don’t think my eyes could have handled that.
Yesterday at around noon Sofia Vergara Tweeted, “Finally snowing in the house!!☃” and almost 24 hours later she showed us just how much snow she got at her house in Westchester, NY that is right outside the city. As you can tell by the statue and the bushes, they got a lot of the white stuff. I can’t find out exactly how much they got where she is at, but in the neighboring Bronx they got around 25″.
I have to admit looking at the pictures the Modern Family star took, I am completely jealous that I didn’t go home for the holidays…:(
