Here is what the actor said about that guest appearance: “ER was the first show I got to be on that when I walked onto the stage, as a fan, I felt like I knew where everything was. My scene was the final part of a very long continuous shot that ER was famous for. If you’re an actor, you know what the stress of that is. Maura Tierney and @mingna_wen were my wonderful scene partners and the great @pkcbarclay was the director who made me feel comfortable and confident enough to get my lines out and deliver a decent performance.”

When celebrities appear on talk shows, 90% of the time, they just talk about themselves. But then there is the 10% when they have to play games, and most of those games are stupid.
For example, today on Sherri, Sherri Shepherd asked Julie Bowen to play Sink the Stink. Since they have teenage sons, they know what it is like to have smelly clothes all over the place. So, the producers thought they would like to catapult socks and underwear into a laundry basket. Whoever gets the most unmentionables in the hamper in 30 seconds wins.
Sherri went first. While she was doing that, the Modern Family star picked up a pile of clothes and dumped them into her basket. By doing so, she was like this game is so stupid, she is not going to play.
Well, she actually, she did, and she won! Not only the game but my heart too!
Podcaster Taylor Strecker was on Paige DeSorbo’s Amazon Live show, and the latter wanted to know who the former’s worst guest was. Without hesitation, she said it was Eric Stonestreet and that he was “nasty.”
She explained that the Modern Family star was on her show to promote Pepto Bismol. However, she didn’t know that. So he said to her, ‘Somebody didn’t do their homework.’”
She said to him, “‘I’m sorry. Am I getting paid by Pepto-Bismol? The answer is no. So that’s your job to figure out, not mine,’
She is right. It is his publicist’s job to tell her producer that he needs to talk about it. However, she is not beholden to talk to him about it. Therefore, he was in the wrong.
If he was a man, he should apologize to her. But he won’t.
