Neverland is no thriller for The Beckhams
February 19th, 2007 under Michael Jackson, The Beckhams. [ Comments: 2 ]

Michael Jackson is reportedly desperate for Victoria and David Beckham to buy his Neverland ranch. The singer, who left the property 18 months ago after being cleared of child abuse charges, wants the Beckhams to buy the 2,800-acre property for £10 million. Michael has asked estate agents to show the property details to Victoria, who has been house hunting ahead of David’s summer move to the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team. However, Victoria is said to have no interest in Neverland, because it is in Los Olivos, California, 150 miles away from David’s new training ground. Victoria, 32, is expected to look at around 35 properties in total, all valued between £5 million and £10 million. She reportedly has her eye on a £7.5 million mansion previously owned by Lionel Richie and is determined to find the perfect home for her family. Victoria said: "I want to make sure I pick the right one for David and the kids. I’ve seen some beautiful places, but we want somewhere that looks like a nice home." The former Spice Girl is planning to spend £50,000 on themed bedrooms for the couple’s three sons Brooklyn, seven, Romeo, four, and 23-month-old Cruz. Victoria has asked children’s boutique Petit Tresor to design murals, beds and furniture with a soccer theme. Petit Tresor’s co-owner, Samantha Winch, said: "The idea is to make you feel like you’re in a soccer stadium like Dad. Endorsement deals and screaming fans are sold separately!"

Actually if Michael Jackson were smart he would try to get Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to buy the place. They want a lot of kids and it far enough from LA they can have some privacy, but what do I know I am not into real estate.

Would you pay £1,700 for 30 seconds with Michael Jackson?

Michael Jackson is going to charge his fans £1,700 each to spend 30 seconds with him in Japan. The singer is allegedly suffering debts of £170million, and has come up with the novel way to increase his income. Jackson will travel to Tokyo in February to attend the "fan appreciation events", where he is set to charge 30 fans for the privilege of his company. Despite his debts, the singer was recently pictured shopping in Las Vegas, reportedly spending thousands of pounds on "impulse buys".

Heck no. I hope no one pays him that to teach him a lesson, but you know they will.

Michael Jackson locks out his dad?

Jacko’s Nanny Locks His Father Out It isn’t easy being Joseph Jackson these days. I’m told that in the last couple of weeks he attempted to visit his son, Michael, in Las Vegas at a home owned by the Sultan of Brunei. Unfortunately for Joe, Michael’s aide-de-camp and nanny to his kids, Grace Rwaramba, refused him admission to the former King of Pop’s temporary digs. "Joe Jackson sat outside the gate for three hours before going away," one source said and another confirmed.

I wonder what made him finally shut out his dad?

Prince Michael I and Paris look nothing like him. Prince Michael II has hair color, but that could be a wig because why would a boy have such long hair like that? Excpet for Prince Michael II’s hair the kids actually look normal and happy.

Michael Jackson working with Simon Fuller?
February 19th, 2007 under Michael Jackson. [ Comments: none ]

Robin Leach reveals that megastar producer-manager, Simon Fuller, has held top-secret strategy planning meetings in Vegas with Michael and Emmy award-winning director-choreographer, Kenny Ortega, who has created two of Michael’s previous smash, sell-out world tours. By the way, Kenny won his first Director’s Guild of America award on Sunday for outstanding achievement with his ‘High School Musical’ production for Disney. They invited me to join their dinner in a private room behind the watchful eyes of 2 security guards at Steve Wynn’s Wing Lei Chinese restaurant at the mogul’s Wynn resort hotel and casino. It’s Michael’s fourth visit to the Epicurean Award-winning restaurant since moving to Vegas ending his 18-month self-imposed exile from the US living in Dubai and at Michael Flatley’s castle in Ireland. Ironically, Michael who normally shuns cameras, was undetected just 100 feet away from the 200-strong media mob reporting on Paula Abdul’s ‘Woman of the Year’ award and star-studded attendees. A bit later when I told Simon Cowell, who was also in Vegas for Paula’s award, that his partner was just around the corner, he laughed and said, "Doing another one of his world-shaking mega-deals, I suppose." Michael, who was looking well, relaxed and very happy told me, "I’m doing fine and am well and really enjoying myself in Vegas. It’s a great place to call home." His hand shake and voice were strong and firm. On Michael’s pending Vegas show and return to pop royalty, Kenny added, "We’re talking business and looking at lots of different possibilities. This is a blue-sky time with a lot of different scenarios up in the air. We’re working through all of them to find the best – the one that makes the most sense that’s good for everybody." I was reliably told that if anybody could transform Michael into a box-office megastar all over again, it would be entertainment mogul Simon Fuller, "This is the perfect match: the world’s biggest pop-star being looked after by the most successful mogul-manager in the world."

Luxe Life (he talks more about Michael Jackson enjoying Las Vegas and all)

If anyone could save Michael Jackson’s career, it is Simon Fuller. Will be interesting to what happens with these three?
Wonder if they also talking about an American Idol 6 Michael Jackson theme night on the side too? Or have MJ perform on the season finale?
