You might not know this, but Meredith Vieira’s talk show is still on the air. Well, at least for the time being because Page Six is reporting that the show will not be renewed for a third season. The news is not a surprise because it has never done well in the ratings.
Even though it looks her talk show won’t be back, I doubt this will be the last time we see her daytime television.
Abigail Breslin was on The Meredith Vieira Show and the host asked her about the strange collection she keeps in her bedroom. The Oscar nominee collects doll body parts, mostly heads, and displays them in her boudoir.
Imagine walking into a bedroom and seeing doll heads all over the place. I’d run out of there, faster than you can say Barbie.

Tony Danza was on Meredith Vieira‘s show today and she brought up that a lot of people confuse the lyrics of Elton John’s song Tiny Dancer for Tony Danza. As she was talking about it, he stopped her mid-thought and told her he has to come clean. He revealed, “It really is. It’s a song that Elton wrote about me. For years, I have said it wasn’t. But now, I let you know.”
Then Meredith reacted by saying, “He had a mancrush on you.” Without missing a beat the Who’s the Boss? said, “It was more than that.” I would love to see the magic Taxi ride they took together that inspired that beautiful song.
For five years Meredith Vieira and Matt Lauer were the co-hosts of Today and the two of them would prank each other from time to time. Whenever he appears on her daytime talk show they continue that trend by trashing each others dressing rooms.
This time when he was on the show, he decided to leave his mark all over dressing room and she had a few choice words about it. When she saw his face all over her walls, she said, “OMG, what a jackass” and “what an idiot?” How many times have we’ve said that about him? Well we are using it in a different context than her, but still.
Although how can you hate the news anchor after seeing this photo of him with Today‘s new puppy Wrangler? It is too arfdorable for words!
Kristin Chenoweth is on The Meredith Vieira Show today. Just before she was about to come out, the host’s dog did something wicked. The precious pooch drank some water out of the guest’s mug. Even though the actress was backstage, she heard what happened. Being who she is, before Kristin sat down she drank from the cup. Vieira tried to stop her, but the Pushing Daises star told her, “I’m drinking it! I’ve had worse things in my mouth that that.” I don’t know what that could be? I wish she would’ve elaborated. So let’s just imagine what it is because drinking water with a dog’s slobber in it, is pretty gross. I mean, their mouths are cleaner than ours are, but they also lick their balls and a$$es. Oh wait, I will not comment any further…
But back to Kristin, I am wondering if she is referring to the times Jay Leno made her eat gross things for money, I mean, charity?
